New login campaign - augmented capes
Would be cool if you could trade the grabbag to the moogle and you choose the cape and then the augments are random. Like a kupon basically.

I guess I said what I meant incorrectly. I liked the event at first but spamming to get ***on with junk made me grow sick of spending hours on content that I make nothing but exp/cp from and a little bit of pocket change from NPCing and then I log off thinking I should have done something to make gil for my next r/m/e or played something else.

Better than using my login points on seals, I wish they'd let you choose the cape though. I'd be fine gambling on stats if I wasn't also gambling on the cape.
I'd take seals over that ***anyday. If I'm going to play lotto on random ***, I'd rather have lotto for a 70m Kraken from getting 460 BC seals than 4 lolcapes.
I can agree that it would ALMOST be tempting IF you got to choose the cape. And if they were 500.

Nope. Mostly RDM/SCH/PUP/PLD etc, jobs that I either don't have geared well enough to care, or the COR cape that is literally marginally better than an unaugmented version (Phantom Roll abil delay -1 -.-)
I think I'll probably cash all my loottowards Marduk. Not that the stats matter, but my GEO needs a better /lockstyle body to use.
Won't waste my time buying capes with points, since between augmenting system and goblin, I have been royally fcked over more than 90% of the time.
edit: I lied. I forgot I've gotten Takaha Mantle with some zanshin str and stp on it. So it wasn't a complete waste.

Reminds me when rich BLMs would gamble Genie Weskets for the slim chance of getting maybe a tiny bit of INT or MAB.

thunder resist +16 on terras, thunder resist +12 HP+20 MP-20 on merman's, both good for stun resists/magic eva turtle sets. i really like the FoV aug system lol. enmity -4 MND+2 INT-2 CHR-2 on pythia +1 is another really good one ive gotten. there are a ton of shitty fails like enmity +3 on penitents rope, mnd-2 int-2 on mermans, hp-10 mermans, ect. i recommend it to anyone who likes a cool chance at situationally decent augments lol
need to necro this thread and post the 4 capes we get at the end of the campaign and complain bitterly about this further!

Incursion is fun. Maybe because I've only upgraded to 127 zone so far.
Once you get high enough to where you need to start burning SPs to win, and when everyone is capped on all the gear drops except for capes, interest in the event takes a nosedive.
When I do 6-9 person party pug I never do it higher than 127.
For this event there is a huge gap in player gear+skill not only on a server but cross server as well.
Noone on my server has beaten 134 where other server its been beaten at 143, SE has pretty much no hope of making battle content challenging+rewarding with that kind of gap.

Wish they told us exactly how they changed Weapon Skills. :\
Revealer's, Sombra, and Germanword armor sets seem to be the Su1 sets. They're all tagged with Inscribable.

Use the item and get a Random cape =( got a Niht Mantle with attk +5, Dark +5, Drain/Aspir +24
Used the 1k points i got so far on grab bag, got a +3str +2dex aug MNK cape.
