New Login Campaign - Augmented Capes

New campaign:

- super nice cait sith cap;

- augmented jse capes (random obviously) - 1000 points per try;

- 2 news trusts: rughadjeen and najelith;

- at long least, the marduk old salvage gear, so next one is the skadi gear.

I think this new campaign is better than average due to the exclusive caith sith cape and the jse capes, for people whos behind in incursion. Both cant be send to same account.

This campaign should last at least 3 months!

so at best you can get 4 capes on your main. Thats like what 2 runs in 130+ incursion? I will however have me a new hat.

Augments are NOT sendable.

Based on description its like graam coffer but 100% 1 of 22 capes with augments you may or may not want.

It would be nice if they let you pick the job but I kind of double it. They likely will just make it an item like a coffer that you use and it only drops jse capes.

Id like to put these coffers in my mog house. no sure if I can stack them high as 99 tho, might be a terrible game of ganja.

I am under the impression its random cape + random aug's. Could be wrong though.

Reminds me when rich BLMs would gamble Genie Weskets for the slim chance of getting maybe a tiny bit of INT or MAB.
More often than not they got something stupid like +3 STR -2 INT

I dont think you could pay some people to do incursion, know a few people that straight up refuse to do it anymore.

I have to play RDM and be a stunner in this event to get it going at all, words cannot express my hate for SE putting what will probably be the strongest cape gear for the next couple years behind such a tedious and crappy lolrandom augment event.

Augmented capes may not be POL sendable, but maybe the grab bag is? Coffers sure are...

Of course this is just wishful thinking.

I spammed incursion(ymmr specifically) when it came out for weeks and set up runs to see 0 Canny Capes while others got multiple including my alt mage that has a better THF back than my mythic THF. I hate the event and not sure ill go back so ill take these 4 free shots at a good THF cape. I'm sure they will keep it in the campaign later also.

Better than using my login points on seals, I wish they'd let you choose the cape though. I'd be fine gambling on stats if I wasn't also gambling on the cape.

Rdm cape made me sad even with good enhancing duration still 7 seconds less duration than emp cape was truly hoping to be able to toss a couple capes

I know I'm gonna burn my login points on that option, all the same, so I better start preparing to be disappointed now.

Generally hate incursion, but on the bright side, its laughably easy for capacity points. I got with a few people, and sometimes I get a rare item (like Olseni belt) that is shiny. Normally, though, I'm just helping others who really enjoy the event. Its a way for players to get CP and a 'chance' at rewards.

Nope. Mostly RDM/SCH/PUP/PLD etc, jobs that I either don't have geared well enough to care, or the COR cape that is literally marginally better than an unaugmented version (Phantom Roll abil delay -1 -.-)

I think I'll probably cash all my loottowards Marduk. Not that the stats matter, but my GEO needs a better /lockstyle body to use.

Won't waste my time buying capes with points, since between augmenting system and goblin, I have been royally fcked over more than 90% of the time.

edit: I lied. I forgot I've gotten Takaha Mantle with some zanshin str and stp on it. So it wasn't a complete waste.
