Currently mulling 'League of Shadows' as my organization name but it seems a bit dramatic.

The culture part refers to our collective actions regarding rape/sexual abusive in 'ol 'Murica. From the military right down to walking down the street we see women getting raped as something not priority and victim blame because we're too lazy to give a ***about it. Understandable, considering the many things we have to deal with in life.

Individuals may do their part and live by their own ruleset but the overall result is still one of victim shaming and other enshrined beliefs that result in unintended results. It's why we can't help but refer to our cue cards regarding sexual assault to embarassing degrees of reaction. It's also why male rape is considered a joke and it's why gang rape kneejerks into a 'she wanted it' response.

People excuse make about dress, walking by yourself or any other stock response one can make rather than call a spade a spade because it's far easier to fall back on cherished ideals than admit there might be a problem.

It's a very similar situation to the racial tensions in America where the modus operandi is basically the status quo barring a few notable cases and why both topics are intensely polarizing.

For the record, Tumblr feminists are as much a nuisance as the stereotypical white guys who would have me believe we live in a post-racial America where merit and hardwork are valued above all.
