Was just wondering if there are any 2 ring combinations that would be to powerful for S/E to allow players to choose 2.
No, of course not. It's just the arbitrary rule to chose one reward.
The only problem I have with it personally, is that some of the rings don't belong as reward scenario rings.
You could literally wear all 12 and achieve next to no gain.

Is there a cap on dual wield... I mean.. I have skadi body armor, earrings THF cape with +5 DW, belt +6 .. and now ring? Soon mythic dagger.. crazy..
There is an overall delay reduction that DW counts towards.And since it lowers TP/hit that is usually the first thing you get rid of when you are getting haste2 or geo-haste
There is also a hard cap on delay that, no matter how much delay reduction you have (haste/DW). you can never go below. I think its total delay of 75.

80% is the cap for auto-attack delay reduction.
