Hi, I've been having this problem for a while and it's very frustrating: when editing a node it constantly freezes making it a very hellish experience to finish a job. Browser says something about a plugin that stopped working and just freezes me and upsets me.
As far as I know it's not a problem that only I have, so I thought I'd report hoping there is something that can be done about it.

Is this all your nodes or node specific?

I just tested it out with my nodes and they worked just fine with no delay.

-Sorry for responding so late, I just now saw this thread.

My nodes too. All of them, no matter what I do.

Edit: I've tried 3 different browsers and updating Java and it didn't work then either.

Mind you it doesn't happen just by opening it. Work on it for a bit and after some time something screws up.
I noticed in particular it happened when using the buttons for image or url also.

I edited an entire node and create a new one with

2 video links showing how to use something.

10+ pictures and coloured text, the bbcode commands etc with no issues....

I think that's thorough enough?

Been on it all day, I wouldn't just open/close and go "it works" that's how SE dev team works.

And I've been using it for months, it's not isolated for me either.

Just tested it again, images, videos, even copied and pasted Sehachan's guide and edited it quite a bit and left it open for hours and published it... I had absolutely no delay nor a single problem. I'm not sure why I cannot reproduce it.

I reported this to Scragg when I started playing with nodes, I'm not sure if he ever got around to checking it out but the problem still exists for me too. When editing my BLU node for around 10mins straight, the browser will slow down. After 15 mins it crashes completely if the node tries to autosave or I manually click the save button. Happens with both Chrome and Firefox.

I had the same issue on the Sam node a while back. If I leave anything with a non-banner ad open for more than a few minutes it starts to lag a bit.

Mine happens about 2-3 minutes in. I'll be working on my node, and hit the bold or underline button for something, and it glitches out and plugin crashes with all 3 browsers. My friend has the same problem too.

I'll let Scragg know about this. I seem to can't reproduce a the error. Maybe he can.

Same, after the first 3 crashes, I just (select all) (copy)
open notepad ++ (paste).

Only actually edit the node in /nodes/ when I'm ready to make sure I didn't mistag somewhere.

Unrelated, how does one make a link to further down within the same node and it actually scroll down to that spot. I don't think I did it correct in the SCH guide.

I think you can only link to other posts, not to specific places in a post.
