Well the files arnt showing up on the virus scan any more. And i also found the folders and deleted them. Not sure if theirs any more lurking around my system or not tho.

On another note, this comp has been lagging up a lot lately. It gets to be a pita just moving the mouse. But if i ctrl+atl+del and bring up the task manager, it goes away. And this has predated the orbtr infection.

Can you still download the drivers for that hardware?

if so, I may just send you the xp disc, what's on it? home? pro?

i should have most of the drivers. I still have the disks that came with it, included the disk to reinstall xp home. But that seems a bit drastic atm?

Honestly I'd wipe the sonnabitch, much easier to start from scratch than spend hours hunting down unknown possibly compound issues.
