I have killed AAHM difficult 7+ times in the last 2 days with no Strap in sight. Someone told me to try it on Normal because they have seen the strap drop more often.
Can anyone help me on this?

Stick to the highest difficult you are capable of clearing, higher difficulty rates = higher drop rates, whoever suggested Normal has probably had a large amount of luck, conversely you seem to have had some bad luck.

I'd say I've seen it more in DM than in the individual fights, but that's not really fair since I've done DM roughly six billion times more.

If its any consolation, it took some good friends and I about 25 tries to get my Raimitsukane. 15+ on VD and the others on Difficult.
And most people wouldn't even want that thing.

It's just bad luck. I've seen two drop on Normal. I've seen it not drop for several times on D. But yeah in general, the higher the difficulty usually means higher drop rates.
LOL I've seen about a million Ramitsukane's trying to get Felistris Mask. Running on D but mostly VD, 1 mask out of over a dozen runs.
Strap has a pretty good drop rate, in my experience.

Stick with Difficult. I have seen the grip drop 3 times out of the 4 I've done it, and the hume dies extremely fast with a good strategy and team. You'll get it! Keep on trying. :)
