Homeowner Kills Armed Intruder

Choices that make sense... then doesn't that become situational based on the person, where they live, what they do, and their hobbies/interests on the matter?

If you like shooting for sport or as a hobby then you may have an 'armory' with weapons of all different calibers, sizes, types.
If you hunt, and depending on what you hunt, the range could be just as huge.
Or if you're a collector or a gunshop owner, a farmer, etc etc.

Sure average joe doesn't need an AR-15 but neither does jimmy who uses .454 for self defense

And on the note of guns being used for suicide by a person with a mental disability or not. They're gonna kill themselves one way or another if they truely want to. And if a kid kills themselves by playing around with a gun they found in the house then its on the parents for not enough gun safety. keep that stuff locked up in a safe with the ammo somewhere else
