Sounds like something else is killing your pol.exe process. You perhaps have something on your computer or your Antivirus is killing your pol session. That's just my guess.

This. The amount of things that can kill your POL session are endless. I opened itunes the other day while playing and the damn game crashed.

Only addon i use is windower and msjans when im curing. Tried it with and without programs and happens on both setups. Even updated mij spellcast files cos it gave me a singnal it was out of date.
It only happens when im in heavy content i thought, but last time it even happened during a solo normal reive.
It might be my video card or tempreture of my computer, but if i use my browser it stays on and only ffxi get booted. No problems loggin in, im back ingame in 2 minutes or less. Then it goes good for some time. Even had a full day of events without booting. Just dont get it.
Im now updatng my videocart with new drivers in the hope it'll help, maybe next i will a new install if it doesn't help.

windows 7 specs not much, asus core i7 geforce gt540m ,wife did a scan and found 11 virusses and updated my videocard. Hope it helps.
