Windower Or A Plugin/addon Broken With Latest Hook

Crash on load with newest hook.

Trying to disable addons/plugins and see if I can figure out what's crashing.


Seems to be the timers plugin.

not so sure its Timers, I've just unloaded Timers and still cashed.

Unloaded all and in ok

Definitely more than just timers.

somthing with the lua core made me crash, i just pulled out every addon/plugin and loaded them manually after.

I did that, crashed when I got to timers.

It seems to be gearswap crashing things since the most recent luacore update did it and gearswap is no longer working in game because of it either. getting runtime error: refresh.lua:440: attempt to perform arithmetic on nil value.

I got that until i reloaded ffxi, now gearswap seems working fine with ONLY Gearswap and Shortcuts loaded. No other Addons or Shortcuts.

Whelp, summoned trust (but it may be from joining any party)? And getting that refresh.lua error again and gearswap stops working.

And even not in party, seems to be a little broken (motenten's PDT defense mode not fully locking in PDT gear)

Loaded fine with all usual plugins but NO add-ons switched on.

Crashing and stops working when I summon trusts and even when I switch jobs to load another .lua. Odd.

Everything else works fine.

Turned off all plugins no dice turned off just gearswap and it let me finally login...

Having the same crashing when logging in issue that others are having, which I didn't have last night so can only assume luacore or the hook changed overnight. I disabled all addons then logged in, no issue, but then did lua load gearswap from console (before choosing my character) and it instantly crashed. I'd say gearswap is the issue, but it almost always turns out to be luacore in the end

The problem is LuaCore. It looks like a bad version was accidentally pushed live. Here is a working one:

Open the windower launcher(s), download the dll, paste it over LuaCore, select your profile(s), and log in to the game.

Anyway to disable the auto update? Was trying to load in more than one toon and yeah >.>.... I guess I can try making it read only...

Kenshy, as he said, open multiple windowers up without selecting profile, then overwrite the dll.

Open up all the launchers you need open for each character (eg I have 2 characters, so had to have two launchers open) and then paste the new LuaCore.dll over the old one.

Should be fixed, sorry it took so long. I had to leave right after I pushed the update.

Phew thank god I thought It was just me having this issue again thank you Tom Cruise! can't wait to get home and try it.
