Looking For Macro Files (not Windower)

Hey guys

I really hope someone can help me out there. I'm looking for macro files which I could use to import macro palettes to my char. I'm not looking for windower macros!
I came back after a long-ish break to FFXI, and I obviously *** up storing my Macros to the server, because they were replaced by a macro palette for one of my Alts.

Can anyone help out, please? I have most jobs to 99 - but I mainly use the Mage Jobs

Macro files are stored in the USER folder. (PlayOnline-> FFXI-> USER)

There are ten local slots of macro storage... Did you inspect them for eventual backups ? That's stored within your local PlayOnline viewer account files (not within the game files)and is even visible in the file viewer utility on PlayOnline viewer. Who knows you might have a old copy of your macros there and don't remember about them.

With the recent change to gearsets, you may just be better off in redoing them. (may)

I deleted the game entirely, there is no backup apart from the one for my Alt (which contains a set of two palettes that are no use to me at all)

Yeah, you basically just need to redo them, /equipset will make it nicer at least.

Well, no one else has your macros so there's no way to help you.

This doesn't help you with your problem, but could do in the future. I have a batch file I use to back these up periodically.

FYI, "dd381e" is your character slot number on your server (Birmarck ?) database. Each character is assigned a unique number.

You're going to have to redo them. Someone with the same job could give you their macros, but in the long run it wouldn't be the same gear and you'd end up redoing them anyway. If you don't know the commands;
