Trying to figure out this event this time, idk I must be doing something wrong, anyone have pointers on how to do this?
They don't do the typical dance attack thing where you dance with them, I've tried cheering both but it doesn't seems to do anything, one just kills the other and then the event is over.

ok I think I figured it out, a little different from the previous year cause it's mumor vs mumor. Anyway thanks for the advice.
Got the trust npc, she's a dnc, looks like she only uses skullbreaker ws, drain samba 3, stutter steps, and saber dance.

Someone in game told me the same thing.
says it on the FFXI site "uka wil be added later to the login event"
and the best tip[s i can give is Macro each piece hold down the Ctrl and keep your fingers on it and remember you dont have to rush the dance wait till she says it then click the proper dnce button

i have had where she wont dance... nmybe its a bug idk its happend once or twice tho just keep cheering real one and dacnce aimed at fake one :/

Samba -> /dance1
Waltz -> /dance2
Neo jig -> /dance3
Super jig -> /dance4
You mimic their dancing techniques, as well as /cheer and /clap while they're fighting. You also use one firework to make clapping better. He said he did his in Windurst Walls, I don't know if that makes a difference. Remember to speak to the moogle first.
Best to make macros. A linkshell member of mine said it took him 4 tries, but he managed to do it that way, because he slipped up on some macros a few times, not because the information was wrong. I wish you luck!
Also, buying fireworks from Mumor's bros makes /cheer and /clap more effective.

Either or work, also /wave. (the three male NPCs do the actions you're can)
All 3 work equally well, quicker dances with more people :o... With only 1-2 people cheering/clapping/waving, it can take a long time for the dance to happen

Buy at least one firework from the NPC before each event starts. (125 gil)
It's VERY helpful to make macros.
Once the battle begins, target the real Mumor (the one with the posse behind her) and use the /cheer and /clap macro to encourage her.
As soon as both sides pause fighting, target the fake Mumor (the one w/ the moogle behind her) and when the real Mumor calls out a specific dance in the chat log, use the correct macro to copy the dance.
/cheer and /clap after the true Mumor takes damage and is kneeling is how you unlock the 'Firesday Night Fever' phase.
Practice syncing your /dance moves prior to the 'Firesday Night Fever' phase. It won't hurt your score if you miss one, or do the wrong /dance.
You have to complete the 4 successful dance syncs during 'Firesday Night Fever' phase to obtain the Shokujo Happi and Shokujo Hanmomohiki (female) or Kengyu Hanmomohiki and Kengyu Hanmomohiki (male).
Repeat WHILE WEARING your new gear to unlock Trust: Mumor.
