Got a question..

Has the Store TP calculation changed?
I have a 450 delay GK so I assume tp/hit is 11,5 (115 now, i'll use 3numbers tp from now on)
SAM99+full merit STP so +40 STP right?
w/o STP gear, i get a 177tp/hit which would obviously be calculated as 115*1,40 (115/hit, STP40 from job trait and merit) but this math gives me 161/hit. Though, i did get 177/hit.

Is there a new trait to SAM or has the base tp/hit changed? Because if i had a 115 basetp/hit i would need 54 STP (merit trait) to get 177/hit.

P.S.: I carefully removed all my STP gears. and no Trust NPC.
This was my set while testing and also tried with Ichimonji-Yofusa
Did not Zanshin nor Double Attack nor whatever else that could affect STP.
Tested in Ceizak Battlegrouns and Castle Zwahl Keep

Was confused about that the other day as well, since it changed I never knew the new values u_u;;

450 Delay weapon = 127 tp
450 delay weapon with SAM main = 177

I don't know the new calculation, I just know each STP = 1.27 or 1% of base.

If my basteTP was 127 (450 delay weapon), then everything works.

127*1,4 = 177,8 (chop off the ,8)
When i use my stuff i get 33STP from gear and 219 TP/hit
127*1,73 = 219,71 (chop off the ,71)

Maybe its only the baseTP that has been change? :o

With a 480 delay weapon i get 187 tp/hit w/o stuff (40STP), 231 tp/hit with stuff (73STP)
BaseTP should be 130 for a 480 weapon.
130*1,4 = 182tp/hit
130*1.73 = 224.9tp per hit

To get what i get, BaseTP should be 134
134 *1,4 = 187,6 (chop off the ,6)
134*1,73 = 231,82 (chop off the ,82)

STP should be a flat amount. So 10 STP literally adds 10 to return on any action that generates to. Sam main gets 40 STP from traits and merits, so 127 base become 177. 127+40=177. STP values haven't changed, only the STP calculated from delay.

No.

Store TP is -always- a percent increase in TP return. 10 Store TP is +10%, not +10.

Correct. The TP formula changed in the June patch.
Code
If Delay < 176:
  32 + floor((Delay - 12) * 11/64)
else
  17 + floor(Delay * 489/2000)

Caveat: This isn't valid for delays above 530-ish, so it doesn't give proper values for ranged weapons.

Well anyway, i go out of town, hit a mob, check TP return.
Go in calculator... Find xtp *1.what = 200 or 250 (for 5 or 4 hit).
Get that amount of Store TP, and thats it :p

So i finally figured out what was the tp for my delays on GK ! Thanks.
Gotta do that for RNG now :p
