Abosrbing Counters.

Ok, so here's the situation:
Job: PUP
Location: Abby-Attowah
Atma: RR, VV, Mounted Champ

while in Buquwik Cape, I'm occasionally absorbing the mandys' Counter attacks:

Craptaculous's absorbs the Hannequest's counter.
Craptaculous recovers 0 HP
--------

0 because I'm full HP due to the automaton's Stoneskin it keeps up on me.

What I don't get is why it's absorbing a counter attack. Does Counters have a fire affinity or all element affinity, proccing cape?

I don't get it lol

Could be a bug? As if we don't have plenty of those to begin with.

have not been in abby for a ling while but you did verify that none of the atmas didnt' have absorb dmg minor?

Odd indeed, It's likely a battlemod text error, do you use that?

Something similar happened to me in dynamis but with magic. Some quadav casted blizzard iv on me and for whatever reason I absorbed it. I double checked my gear and nothing mentioned absorbing ice damage or magic damage.

DEX+:Superior (+50)
Critical Hit Rate:Superior (+30%)
Critical Hit Damage:Major (+30%)
VIT+:Superior (+50)
Regen:Superior (20 HP/tick)
Enmity decrease when taking damage -:Minor
STR+:Superior (+50)
"Double Attack"+:Major (10%)
"Regain":Minor (2 TP/tick)

Only Absorb Piece of gear I had on was the Buquwik Cape:

@Anjou: you sure you didn't have the Toro Cape on? It's the ice version of what I had on. There's also a Snow Sachet that does the same thing.

Well, since an obvious typo isn't as obvious as I would have thought it to be, could a mod fix my dyslexic typo, thanks.

This will help direct people correctly when viewing the forum topic titles just in case there's a few people out there that couldn't figure out that I meant “absorbing” even though I dyslexically typed "Abosrbing" instead, I’m sorry about that.

There's a reason why I use Skype in game rather than typing.
