Haha, damn. At first I was like 'this is weird' cause I didn't understand that all tiles moved in the direction you pushed. After I got that I was like 'oh, this seems like it's going to be really easy'....and then the board start to fill up and I was like 'oh, f*ck'. Then I lost with 128 as my highest tile cause I had no moves left.
512 is as high of a block as I can get and 6812 score. At that point I just have so many random and non-matching blocks and no space to maneuver so it just doesn't work without exceptional forethought which I'm not terribly well known for ^^;
I've gotten to 1024, I typically just layer the blocks with the highest value being in the upper right, with lower values radiating out from it in order. It's not 100% effective because of the random popping of the new block though, sometimes you can get *** if a 2 sneaks in behind your 64 or something.
I've known about this game for awhile and got my wife addicted to it. I've personally gotten to 50k+ and tile 4096. I think that game is still in progress as I had to stop and charge my phone.
