This is the exact reason why Square Enix can NEVER win with their playerbase.

They introduce new content. Here are the common responses:
-Its too hard
-Its too easy
-The drops are sidegrades
-The drops are lowgrades
-The drops are too powerful that my other gear is now insignificant
-The battle mechanics and mobs moves are cheap
-The battle requires only XxX jobs
-They should have done it this way
-I don't like the changes, the old way was better
-I like the changes

Seriosuly, no matter HOW GOOD something is, there is always some guy who could never be pleased. Records of Eminence is free gil, but it doesn't please some people. Movement speed is better for travelling, but it doesn't please some people. Repeat Login campaign GIVES YOU FREE ***, and people still rate it down.

Reminds me of when I used to be in sales. Our instructor taught us the 25% rule:

25% of people will want your product, but will be convinced not to buy it.
25% of people do not want your product, but can be convinced to buy it.
25% of people will buy your product, no questions asked.
25% of people wouldn't even take your product if the damn thing was free.

So sad, but true. People will complain about anything, EVERY TIME THEY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY.

How is that any different than every other product ever made in the history of man?

Oh man, I really liked slicing my own break, sliced bread is the worst invention ever.

Man, I really love this sliced bread stuff.

God... What do I do with that Bread Slicer that I worked so hard to buy now that bread comes pre-sliced?

What makes this sliced bread better than unsliced bread?

personally... i wish they would add more NMs to all areas you can do conflicts in for RoE. And second, i wish the NMs were repeatable just to give a reason to hunt them more then once and earn more sparks. NM hunting on repeat could be an alternative way to gain sparks for the few who may be interested. Or even passing thru a zone with an old NM you already killed is up. Gives you reason to go kill it again for a little bonus...cause the drops sure ain't worth it lol.

They can never win, mainly because they always do it wrong. They've never once, that I can recall done something right on the first go, without having to fix it. If they did that, more than half the damn complaints wouldn't be said and they wouldn't ALWAYS have their backs to the wall.

Another thing I noticed was somewhere around 30%? (not looking at chart atm) of player base isn't doing high-tier battlefields yet. I honestly would like to know why, as they are not extremely difficult to complete and offer opportunities to experience some end game content. Unless that 30% is new players, I don't understand that number.

I typed up a lengthy post in response to this, because I haven't done any of that stuff yet (not really by choice). Deleted it and right now I'm reduced to tears out of frustration.

It's something I would love to do, even have KI's to some of the battlefields, but for someone like me who has never made 572304834 friends, and most of those that I did have left the game and basically gets told indirectly that despite the efforts I make to gear up the best I can with the limited manpower that I have that I'm still not good enough, it's frustrating.

Granted, I came a ways from basically having no ilvl gear when I came back in January, to having an average of 117 according to /checkparam, but that means nothing to some.

Why not go with your husband ivy? Or solo them on VE

He's too freaking absorbed in Minecraft to even remember to log in for the login campaign, and I dunno if I can solo it, and I heard that VE ain't worth doing anyways.

and seriously who is the asshat that was dissatisfied with movement speed

It is sort of an inconvenience, though, for ps2 and xbox players, it's a magical boon of loveliness.

A lot of people on pc were/are already running faster than the 125% upgrade.

So all it really did was make mobs run faster, but it's still good.
