Since there seems to be a massive derail going on lets move the discussion here.

So if we were to skillchain lv3 every possible chance. There is a cool down time on the mob and animation timing limitation which only allows for one skillchain every so odd many seconds.

In normal zerg situations, we must consider how long the fight is and how many skillchains are possible in that time. Also if everyone in the group is using the same lv3 property.

Discuss, provide parser results, argue, call names, etc...

I think with low-man coming back on the table and only using 2-3 melee DD skillchains are actually quite useful again. Add on the fact that a number of NM's require magic damage of sorts done to them (Tojil as a good example) to weaken them and I think it's worth setting up skillchains in a group.

I've parsed 5% skillchain damage against Tojil on DNC 7-manning it with 2 good monks, so the damage is not insignificant. That said, having a bunch of people spamming Victory Smite is going to make a lot of Light whether you time them right or not.

The mandatory delay after a WS before another WS will skillchain makes skillchaining much less viable in meleeburn situations than it would be otherwise. You end up waiting 2 seconds (or whatever) so you can skillchain, but if you get 100 TP every ~8 seconds (like my DNC), waiting 2 seconds is costing you ~25% of a WS. If you know you won't be resisted or interrupted and that the monster takes normal magic damage, then it's worth doing. If you don't, then it isn't.

I try to keep an eye on TParty will wait on skillchain if I see the other two melee have low TP, or if I can see one of them has low TP and one of them is about to WS. In the Tojil case, I was doing Victory Smite -> Pyrrhic Kleos for Distortion. If they both had low TP and I had FMs, I could Reverse Flourish and follow up with Evisceration for Darkness.
