Bushido - The Way of The Samurai (A Guide) V. 2.0
while im no expert (im probably 200% more gimp than xenhas), adapting gearsets for buffs/mob/ect in terms of acc/attack as far as incursion goes, youre definitely able to maintain capped accuracy with effective accuracy swaps for each situation. watching what buffs are on, what you think the mobs evasion is, and debuffs on the mob are all important. if you have people that cant be held accountable for maintaining the more stable buffs/debuffs (geo spells, dia, distract, ect) then youre gonna need to have some sets for that with the appropriate acc+attack in your tp and ws macros (attack for ws is pretty important if youre lacking stable buffs/debuffs or have had all buffs dispelled.)
Credit to Reiden for reviving this guide! I hadn't touched it for YEARS probably and I am glad to see it is still alive, well, and revamped!
Hope all the SAMs on XI are still kicking ***. I am just on FFXIV Raiton-ing stuff to death on my Ninja >.> Cheers all! maldini said: » Asura.Natenn said: » Siren.Sieha said: » Asura.Natenn said: » maldini said: » Siren.Sieha said: » Phoenix.Mudrunner said: » Asura.Natenn said: » Anyone have a max acc+ fudo set? or all WS acc+ sets? XD Its natenn, he is so bandwagon that he cant do anything for himself. I wonder who he asked all these questions to when he play pld. ftfy YouTube Video Placeholder Can't get info/advice from someone who knows nothing Smoker and Izildur, those are names even I recognize. Is anyone from 2004 pandy still playing? From the Caffeine/Kupo days?

Random question. but I can't seem to find any posts or links anywhere that mention it. Does anyone know exactly how the "Occasionally boosts TP when damaged" works on the 119 AF body? Is it a static amount of TP, or is it based on how much damage you take during the hit it procs? Also, what is the proc rate? Just curious if anyone knows?
"occasional tp increase gives double tp when taking damage at a 10% proc rate"
tested it on the 109 when it came out Offline

This is what the it says on the guide:
[Level 30] Meditate (3:00 recast - 0:15 duration) Grants 20% TP per tick up to a maximum of 100 TP. When used as a sub, grants 12% TP per tick for a maximum of 60 TP. Can be enhanced heavily with gear. Enhanced by Wakido Kabuto/+1 adding 1-2 ticks or 120-140 total TP gained. Enhanced by Sakonji Kote/+1 adding an additional 2-3 ticks or 40-60 total TP gained So when I'm wearing both head and hands, I only go up to 1800 TP, instead of 2000 TP. Why? How much TP you'll get out of meditate highly depends on your luck with the tick counter.
Those X - Y ticks that are listed are not meant as "NQ gives X and +1 gives Y" but rather no matter which version you have you have a chance of meditate either giving one of those two results. What you're seeing is the middle of the spectrum (either 400TP[2ticks Kabuto]+400TP[2ticks Kote] or 200TP[1tick Kabuto]+600TP[3ticks Kote]) TLDR: Base/+1 do not give different tick amounts. You have a chance of either amount proccing on both. they add time in seconds
ticks are 3 seconds each, but the tick timer is always running whether meditate is active or not it's not random or anything, the time you use it can change how many ticks are in the time period From what I've seen, Sakonji Kote/+1 give an additional ~7 seconds, Wakido Kabuto/+1 gives ~8 seconds. Depending on when meditate is activated, that translates to either 5 or 6 ticks. Kote must add slightly less time than Kabuto, but together they can't be much more than 15 seconds total.
Edit: spread might be more like 6/9, I tested Kabuto and it gave 3 ticks occasionally, however Kote never do. Offline

Tenzen bow doesn't add it's TP Bonus to GKT weapon skills... does it?
Haven't checked myself, but it's been reported not to.

Awesome thanks. Still need one, I just thought about it in a what if scenario kinda thing.
Edit: Luthiene said: » Meditate stuff Also; if you're a cheap/lazy *** like me you don't even need to reforge it to get the bonus from it. Extra 20-40 TP at the level 60 version too mortontony1 said: » Awesome thanks. Still need one, I just thought about it in a what if scenario kinda thing. Extra 20-40 TP at the level 60 version too AF head, no, but relic hands need to be at least lvl 90. And, no, tenzen bow does not work on gkt WS. started a new char plan on stopping it at SAM75 for awhile to enjoy story etc. Whats the best non relic/mythic 75 GK non trial, Futsuno Mitama? Hagun? or the PW 1?

At least on Fenrir, doubt it'd be much more elsewhere. if you werent so bandwagon then you would remember what you used at 75 or at least could have some idea for yourself.

PW GK was not available to 99% at 75. So it's hard to quantify its use against Hagun. Has anyone ever actually mathed it? I know tp bonusis good, but 100% Zanshin is certainly nothing to brush aside. Consider all the ToM GK's that never existed at 75 either. Also, 300% with Onimaru > swap to Hagun was also a thing. But any other time, I could agree. Well, now it may be closer thanks to zanhasso, but it only adds about 12% zanhasso DA rate over what you'd have without it. Gekko scales insanely well with TP, Hagun would be seriously hard to beat. Soboro was competitive with Hagun as well, but ya Hagun is probably comfortably best at 75 now.
Soboro is still fun to mess around with its like having your 1hr full time being a weapon skill machine gun
