What AF and relic pieces would you consider most important to +1? Also, anyone have a good GEO gearswap?

AF: body, legs, hands.
Relic: body, legs, feet.

For club, on fodder mobs, would flash nova be our best ws? For more resistant mobs would realm be best?

Also titans club seems like a sweet alt to earth staff

Solid Flash Nova set can see 5.5kish, it's the best unless you're riding Fury + Frailty and/or you're fighting something with -MDT like BC fights. Realmrazer you're looking at between 6-7k if you're using Fury + Frailty. Without those, it's more in the neighborhood of 3-4k at best.

If you find yourself with 2000+ TP for some reason, don't forget Seraph Strike. Weaker mods than Flash Nova, but at some point in the low 2000s TP it overtakes Flash Nova in damage. In the same sets sans changing WS belt, 3000 TP Seraph puts out mid 7k-8k, I forget which with a few recent gear changes. Also don't forget that a quick cast of Malaise can nearly double your Flash Nova or Seraph Strike numbers, add Acumen for more lawlz.

I'm pretty sure drain/aspir aren't affected by magic attack so the straight potency + would win(I think)

Purely IMO, but I'd keep the Bagua +1. MAcc and Int to ensure it lands for full potency. The Hairpin should give a slight higher potency, but without stats to ensure it goes unresisted, you may be defeating the purpose of it. Plus we need a good reason to carry a mushroom hat. If it's only purpose is taken, then it's just inventory -1. :(

Drain/Aspir aren't affected by MAB, but they are indeed affected by +Dark Afinity, such as that Hairpin, Pluto Staff, etc.

Are Steelflash/Bladeborn really best for Realmrazer? I'm not an expert on how WS's work, but my understanding that the 7 hits from the WS + the 1 from dual-wielding reaches the maximum hits for a WS of 8, making the double attack pointless. But again, I could be completely off on that.

Correct. I personally use them simply because devoting more inventory space for extremely minor upgrades isn't in the cards, plus I find myself /Rdm more often than not. They give decent +Acc/Att/STP too. No spread sheeting to back it up, but 2x Tati +1s would be my guess for BiS.

Yes, on mobile atm, but all "pet:" gear was changed to effect luopon in the October update I believe it was.

edit: it was the November update.

What is the final verdict on Hexa vs Realm after the recent 1h/WS adjustments? Does Hexa have any point outside of abys/Vwnm?

Not as far as I've found. Don't have a maxed out set, but without a very high rate of crit it just never seems to put out very much compared to Realmrazer (easy 8-9k with capped acc and att) or Flash Nova (5.5kish unresisted and no -MDT).

Regarding the table in the first post, the values for select buffs are incorrect, and i don't see much discussion of it however this is what Nivlakian and myself got from our tests.

Quote:
Testing of Indi/Geo-Frailty:

788 skill is capped skill + merits + job points bonus

585 defense base
Reduced to 507 defense with 788 skill, geo+0 (-13%)
Reduced to 427 defense with 788 skill, geo+5 (-27%)
Reduced to 347 defense with 788 skill, geo+10 (-40.7%)

Reduced to 505 defense with 828 skill, geo+0 (-13.7%)
Reduced to 425 defense with 828 skill, geo+5 (-27.4%)
Reduced to 345 defense with 828 skill, geo+10 (-41%)

This means the entry for dunna's defense down should be corrected to say -27% instead of the current -37% listed. Geomancy+ adds a consistent number to the bonus as far as I've seen so a jump from -15% base, to -37% with geo+5 to -41% does not make sense.

Indi/Geo-Poison does 45hp/tic with 828 skill, geo+5. This also needs to be corrected on the table.

Additions can be made for Atk down (Indi/Geo-Wilt):
757 attack base
Reduced to 582 attack at 828 skill, geo+0 (-23.1%)
Reduced to 405 attack at 828 skill, geo+5 (-46.5%)
Reduced to 227 attack at 828 skill, geo+10 (-70%)

Quick question regarding bagua pants +1, do I need to have them on in my Idle set when I have an indi spell active, or is it just whilst casting (midcast).

I would surmise on for casting only, so I can full time Assiduity pants for example instead or DT etc but I've seen a couple of gearswap where this is in the indi.idle set and I didn't see it notarized on the main page.

So if I need to Nuke something and use Hagondes, does this then kill the effect from the pants? or does it get re instated as long as i re-equip those pants?

Because that seems asinine that SE is basically saying AFK and be gimp if that's the case....

Question regarding geo gifts: I see that two of the gifts give an extra 5 handbell skill and geomancy skill respectively. Does this, coupled with augmented lifestream cape, capped merits + gear etc make renaye ring worth getting? Basically, what is the skill tier for geomancy getting bumped up again? Debating if those gifts are actually worth grinding for.

You don't choose the gifts.... You just get their effects from spending JPs. So if you've spent enough, you'll always have them.
Not that +10 more skill with that we have at the moment does much of anything but give a +1%ish boost...
But later it might be the difference with the 900 tier.
Same goes for the ring.
You're already capping pDIF on stuff without it, 1% more doesn't make it easier to do (eg negligible), so the ring AT THE MOMENT is just a refresh ring, nothing more.
The next tier is theorized to be 900 so anything below that will just buff variable spells by a small amount.
So right now pick one of the better rings that isn't 100%-GEO-Only.
Later when it's needed for 900, you can go back and get it if you're serious about GEOing... But right now it's not worth it when compared to other rings.
