I'm still wondering, how is opium and cocaine going to help Proth? Alternating uppers and downers can't be good for the guy. Unless he kept alternating them so often that it induced an LSD-like episode where he imagined himself opening and stretching his third-eye with his bare hands. He steps through the hole in his own forehead, the metaphorical first step into conquering his existential crisis, and in his drug-addled haze, instead of slaying what he thought was "a dragon", he slayed Donny on accident in reality.

It was for me!!! and I didn't share!
IIRC sherlock holmes used cocaine and morphine in "the sign of the four" to help stimulate his brain.

I thought The Strokes were great in conjunction with The White Stripes and Audioslave! (Tom Morello! *** yeah! Here to save the mother-***' day-yay!) Especially taking into consideration we were coming off whiney *** Stained, Korn, blah-blah-blah.
