As it stands I don't believe there's a known strategy for him.

I assume your farming him specifically for the drops? Might be better off killing the other one for the KI and farming points in Fractures.

Physical damage works well above 50%. Below 50%, magical damage is best, and physical becomes extremely weak. SMNs BLMs CORs and RNGs with access to wildfire work well on him. Wildfire does around 1.3k. Only fought him once though so I don't have much else to go on.

Mura Sams everywhere! If you can't find the mura sams and just have a bunch of sad pandas with moogle missles, then hooopefully you can find some good monks with Formless Strikes. Mura's work better, but punching it a lot works too.

Krabakarpo -
Round 1: wipes alliance in less than 20 seconds at around 65%ish hp.
Setup: DD PTx2 Mage PTx1
Maybe need RUN or MNK burn alliance if not the ideal setup.

You definitely want a lot of magic damage. He builds up PDT over time. I wish I knew what caused it, other than scissor guard spam.

Dunno, after about 2 nukes from our mage party, it pretty must resisted every nuke afterwards. We never got past that 50% mark though to see if it takes extra damage from magic attacks @50% & lower.

I'll try again tomorrow. Might have better luck on the Orobon NM.

Definitely will have better luck on the orobon. That guy's a complete joke. I'd like to lock this crab though, so I'm interested to figure out what his gimmick is.

If all your DD are getting hit and mowed, something's wrong. Are they turtling up when they get hit? (TWILIGHT HYBRID SET GO /facepalm) Ideally, the Mega Scissors is a frontal conal so people should be spread around to bounce the mob. DD wise, if the phys resist is a problem and you're still trying to TP burn it, gotta get those monks! Or this could be a throwback to getting some blms to nuke it if that's not workable since we kind of established the muramasa approach isn't for everyone.

Tried Orobon NM twice & ran out of time on both. Got it to around 35-40% hp each time. Maybe will try Crab again tomorrow. x_x

This KI is starting to feel out of my reach.

Orboron wasn't too bad. I did it with a PUG with a pretty awful 3 brd 2 cor rotation. We did mostly have delve dd's though so that probably helped a bit. Also had a WAR 1hr it right off the bat to break lanterns and pulled it to the outpost so a blu could rotate through the mh resetting absolute terror. Two blu's could have practically locked it for most of the fight I think but 1 worked well enough. Killed in 10 min I think with songs up for barely half the fight

How does this work? Have I missed some kind of update that MH resets JAs?* Or does this only work with Unbridled Learning? BLU just HPs MHs and pops back out to AT again cos timers are reset?

*Or is this just something I have never known about >.>
