Yeah got that too... Ordered 1 PC and 1 Xbox and the xbox one is back ordered already, geez you'd think ordering 14 days in advance would prevent ***like that.

I bought the expansion through Amazon and i gotta say, it was breeze, the entire process (including the update patch from FFXI itself i downloaded/installed just now) took less than half an hour, what a relief to get that outta the way so painlessly (big patch days RARELY are anything but smooth sailing for me). I def recommend buying the expansion via amazon.com to anyone that hasnt done so yet.

Forgot to mention, the register keys are very ease to find/locate, unlike what im hearing if you buy it directly from SE.

you would think that buying directly from them would be alot smoother then buying from an outsource like gamestop/amazon

Same here. Was a 200MB download from Amazon's servers, took like 5m to download. Installed and updated, now to wait for SE's account website to finish maintenance so I can register my codes.

Not without modifying your registry to include the US tree as well.

yeah i got music box so far, no code, no download just waiting~ think im going with amazon next time lol.

I pre-ordered mine a week ago and I still haven't got my email for the music or the game. I will not order from SE ever again.

I have been wondering if I could download the patch onto my laptop (Which has a downloaded US version of the game) and be able to use it after getting my code?
Of course I am going to have to wait to download my EU files until midnight today for my main computer.

I got the email to download the music box this morning. I'm "anticipating" the email for the actual expansion will come early tomorrow morning.

Hindsight being 20/20 I should have used Amazon, but I did it through SE mainly because I was turned off by the whole Sim City fiasco that went down early this month.

You need to contact the support line, they can give you the real userid for the account so you can get into your US SEM account. Once you get into that, you need to contact Robert Peeler. What's the file size on this? It's going pretty fast, just wondering how long It will likely take.

I have a question; because square refuses to send me a code for w/e reason(canceled order) and I'm gonna just go straight to Amazon for this now, but I'm holding up my end of the deal and buying keys for not only myself but buying one key for a friend because he is paying for my account currently.

If I purchase a download then go back to purchase a second will I get two keys or will it be bugged? >_>

i'm also having an issue with this, i got the email saying the product is available, and yet when i track the order it has no download button and says "processing serial number or unlock code"

tried to log into my SE members account and it now logs me into the EU site like one of the posters above. i have digital rights code in the email i recieved, which i'm guessing is the registration code for the expansion, and the pre-order bonus codes are on the invoice itself.

so here's my question. am i going to have to sit on the phone with these douchebags for hours just to delete an EU account and get the info for my real account back before i can download it? or am i misunderstanding something with the invoice/email and the download just isn't available yet? in either case, i don't think i'll order anything directly from SE again as they can't seem to get their sh*t together as a company, this is just bad business in general...

I'm in the same boat it seems, I preordered on Square Enix site, and have yet to get a code, looks like I may just go to Amazon if they don't send one over.

Woke up this morning, everything was waiting for my on my email address, link to the DL, the registration codes, was set in >1 hour.

One thing I can't figure out, the email came with 2 codes, there is a 2nd 4 bracket code XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format. I can't figure out where to use that one, or what it's for.

EDIT: Preordered straight from SE. I think it was probably a little cheaper to go straight to Amazon, but idk, I felt safer this way.

I'm EU and I blindly dl'ed it and installed it >.> But since I still dont have my reg code, can't check if it's workign or not.
