Just wondering about this. When I first started using Chrome when I would click on a link to download a torrent it would see it as a .torrent or w/e and auto-load it in uTorrent. Now it just auto-saves the .torrent files to my desktop for some reason. Is there any way to make it load directly in uTorrent instead of saving it? I mean, it's not really a major inconvenience or anything, just wondering.

I never had this problem but if you have your chrome linked to a gmail account, all your chrome bookmarks & history is saved on google servers. so you can just uninstall chrome and re-install it and see if this fixes the problem?

btw i use chrome and piratebay and np for utorrent auto loading up. My other guess might be is you might not have utorrent auto stared before clicking?

If you do then try my first suggestion.

hope it helps.

Okay i just reinstailled uTorrent and it f'ed up my google chrome with a extension so i had to reinstall Chrome as well. Went to PirateBay and searched Doom 3 as a quick test. Clicked on the magnet link and both chrome & uTorrent in its defult settings auto loaded the Torrent file in to uTorrent. So my suggestion would to try restore both to their default settings with a fresh install.

Also i had uTorrent running in the back ground. Hope this helps ya. Running Win7 fyi in case you're wondering what OS i'm using.
