Rancor Gear... And Some Other Stuff

Ok so I'm trying to decide on a ws set for my PUP. Got my Thaumas gear and whatnot, but PUP can't use what seems to be THE back piece for ws (atheling) So my question is this, do I wear rancorous collar and a different back? Or do I wear rancorous mantle, and nefarious collar?

Also, did we ever establish if using thaumas feet/legs to cap haste and get DA+ was better than the MA from empy +2 legs?

Mantle + Ire +1/Gorget/Nefarious or collar + pantin cape, target pending.

3/5 AF3+2 with Thaumas Body and Feet, usually. Certain pieces being swapped out again depending on the mob, and buffs.

Doesn't Rancorous give more attack than pantin cape though? Unless we're talking about usng mage or melee frames?

Mob dependent, meaning potential dDEX. And your pet shouldn't have any bearing on what you WS in.

Ah derp. Forgot they had dex+ on them.

I've been re-looking at my WS sets, and wondering about this as well. Nefarious + Ranc Mantle, or something else better? Vellaunus' Mantle or Pantin... Tjukurrpa Medal...

Also for head, Thaumas or Nemetona Cap? Get 7 more STR, acc 7, atk 7, in exchange for 4 crit rate...

I'm no pup but if your crit rate is low then add Nefarious, if not add STR. Same goes with thaumas, but if you use thaumas legs in your VS set then keep in mind you gain +2 str/dex so really gaining 5 str. Really situational but like me I try to conserve inventory when I can so stick it out with thaumas.
