I take it, like Terra staff, this won't replace Vulcans correct? I don't know if there is any other effects not listed on it that are hidden.

well, there's pretty much no reason to use a staff/sam now to begin with. if you're using wildfire, chatoyant will pull ahead even without iridescence active.
