Linkshell Community Setup

Visit the Linkshell Community Homepage at:

Click on Login.

Click on Establish/Join Community. Do not login at this point.

Type in your ID/Password and click Login.

Select the character(s) you want to configure. I recommend doing them all.

Normally if you aren't registered/established with a community, a option is given to register/establish. You will get a screen that looks like this if you are fully set up. If you do not see your linkshell listed, that means you need to get a shell/sackholder to come to the site and 'establish' the linkshell.

All that is left is to set your profile information to Public.

How often does the Linkshell Community update profile data?

In other words, logout of FFXI to put yourself on a queue to be updated.

I "Just Litterally" made a new linkshell because sombody decided to take hold of the online community with out my permission before I found out you could make a community. I emailed playonline about it but no responce so I went ahead and made a new Linkshell but it hasnt shown up when I go to the Unestablished Communities. Do I need to wait a day for it to update into the system or am I missing a step some where. I've read like 3 different guides + the guide they have on there website you have listed above. I've spent about 5 hours trying to figure out how this all works and its just a big head ache but it seem like it would be worth it if i could just get my linkshell established. I am the owner of the Original shell "shell holder" and the new one I just made. I really dont see why I wouldnt get priority over the original. If anybody has had these problems or know the in and outs of this please infrom me. My brain hurts. Thanks ^^b

Well, try unregistering yourself from the community and register again. Sounds like the link to your character isn't complete (it might update your armor and stuff but it can't detect you wearing the linkshell pearl.

How can I add more than one linkshell on ffxiah? I have added them under linkshell on the drop down menu... and it says it is already in the data base... but it doesn't show it :( Can someone please help me lol. I can't seem to get it to let me add more than one linkshell under linkshell community either :( Please, help me out ^^

I'm having trouble with the community not letting me update my character profile. I can update profiles with my mules but not my main, can anyone steer me in the right direction?

URL from the community site is from a LS that is no longer around? also using GW client lets you just update everything from there.

My linkshell community profile stopped working with this site about 4 months ago, it worked fine till then. Guildwork seems to read my character fine, and everything is set to public in my profile.

Any idea how to get it to work? x.x

I'm having problems using ffxi LS community.. I follow everything step for step and I playonline password and all but can't get in... I dont believe it should be this hard trying to log in ???

It seems like SE isn't bothering to fix their ls community site, are there any alternative plans to add new linkshells to ffxiah?

There is a alternative because some shells have there members back. Just no one wants to speak up and say how they do it. Any help would be awesome!
