Has anyone figured out a sane way to skillup? I see the new update has added a new set of armor that looks like Errant +1, but I still don't think that's a viable path to pursue. :/

The new chelona gear stops at 106(chelona blazer) so im back to hexed gear.... Serica cloth is hard to come by. Does anyone know which nms drop it? It says from one of the chambers in provenance on the site but does it drop off anything else?

id recommend avoiding any serica cloth synths as much as possible.

Aren't all those synths for loss and ugly losses at that? I took a look at that exact path and concluded it's better to wait. Even if you could sell any of it at the ah none of the gear is particularly good/ in high demand. Moreover even at 110 raw skill wtf is there for for us tailors to T0 craft that's even worth a damn?
I really wish SE would throw us a bone, it's just annoying to raise the cap and there not be a point to it other that boosting rankings on here and the peace of mind that comes from having a blued out skill. :/

revisit a synth once u've leveled past it and hope for hq.

Can any clothcrafter here confirm whether they've gotten a skill-up on Blessed Briaults post 100? FFXI Wiki claims it's a 102 synth, BG Wiki says 100.

Sorry, but I don't trust this result. 10 synths and no skill up is not enough to prove it. I went 43 synths without a skillup in my Alchemy 63-64 range. Then got a skill up again.
I have 10 stacks of galateia stored, will have a more conclusive test on Blessed body in a few weeks when I finish grinding through Goldsmithing.

I'm pretty sure there was someone else who blew a few stacks of Galateia on it, but I couldn't find their "lol wat?" post.
Yeah the 10 synths wouldn't be statistically meaningful, but that wasn't the post that caught my eye. I think the previous post is saying the Guild NPC wouldn't give the Briault synth as a prospective skill-up synth.
Ok here's an update on the situation:
Had a friend with Clothcraft 86 attempt the Briault synth. They were allowed to. This means wiki is wrong, and indeed the level is not 102. It's either 100 or 101, most likely 100 :/

bliault was ninja'd back down to 100 from 102 when the level cap was raised. Between many testimonials, including my own 0/24 on skillups, we found no one was getting skillups on bliault post 100.
Trust me, I tried for a damn long time to hopefully get a cheap skillup synth. Went past my posted 10 to try and get better results to add to the pile.
