Another Microsoft Monopole ?

For peoples who dont know yet : microsoft tryin to take monopole on PC and Xbox 360 josticks !
Some peoples are not even searchin before talkin so sayin it now : it's already happenning !
Dont know all details but Microsoft made a dll limited to ONLY Xbox 360 config, and every other config will be ... totally shut down !
Like it's not even connected to windows :x
So for example Rage, Alice Madness,...well every games with window live CANT be play with another joystick.

And let's say it : it's totally freakin illegal !

For peoples who dont want to give microsoft one penny for this *** (cause their manette freakin expenssive, wireless is like 30S more without ANY reasons at all...and its not produce anymore...), you can continue to play with your olds joysticks usin freewares like Xpadders and such !
(you have to configure it for every game almost though).

Erm..am I missing something here? That link is a troubleshooting link. Of course they don't officialy support third party controllers. I don't see anything about them not working? What are you on about?

Definitely not a spell checker that’s for sure.

as long as the controller supports xinput (which all new "made for windows" games support) then they can't, they best they can hope to do is not sign any driver for 3rd party controllers, which there's workarounds to allow unsigned drivers (although annoying).

Hell even motioninjoy's driver to allow ps3 controllers is now signed, so really OP wtf are you talking about?


As for a monopoly, they've had one for nearly 2 decades, the US doesn't care as too many people enjoy a unregulated economy, and that's what happens when capitalism runs rampant, you get monopolies that do what they want.
