That might be explainable if you think about it as if you're stealing a layer of old skin from the lizard. As in, the layer it was in the process of shedding.

That might be explainable if you think about it as if you're stealing a layer of old skin from the lizard. As in, the layer it was in the process of shedding.

So swinging a far larger object with both hands should do only slightly more damage than a 1handed thrust with, say, a dagger? That doesn't make sense. Not even a little bit.

While I can think of other reasons, the primary reason I think they did it this way is for job changing, tp moves that remove your gear and such. It'd kinda suck to have an inventory full of fish and crystals and then change jobs and get 15 messages "you are unable to obtain that item, item is lost. Woops... there goes your entire tp set!

think of it like clarity and a bond between your avatar. at first ramuh is like "ugh this *** again, sup" but after capping smn skill you two are friends and he actually tries/works hard to deal dmg for ya or buff your party well

and with higher smn skill you summong less and less stupid *** elementals. at zero skill your light spirit goes derp and casts haste every 10 minutes but at capped skill you call only genius elementals etc

Lol makes me think of the bartimaeus trilogy!

Not saying it wasn't. My EGLS's seemed to frown on usage of GS UNLESS you were /THF.
