Mnk Tanking Set

I seem to be a fall to guy when it comes to tanking for the LS and so reading that Mnk can make a decent tank was wondering what a good set of gear would be for that role. Now we are only doing Abby for the time being so unless it's not too expensive, no VW gear. I've started on the relic H2H but nowhere near finishing it yet. For the time being I have the Wind H2H (lv 95). Also heard that counterstance (CC) is the way to go for mnk tanking if you have a good white mage behind ya.

And get a magic damage set to macro in when you'r about to take a -ga3 to the face.
can make a PDT set aswell, but as long as you'r just in abyssea, less important.
Counterstance and a white mage takes care of the rest

Good news is you can get -10% PDT in your TP set with Brawnys and a Black Belt ^^

If you're using Brawnys as your weapon on Mnk, odds are, you're not going to be holding hate.

Not really true inside abyssea, monk wrecks everything in there no matter what, as long as you Ascetic's Fury >_>
Aaaand no matter what weapons your DDs have, they all probably have capped hate in less than a minute anyways

It's "not really true" in abyssea simply because everyone can remain at the hate cap so easily.

If they're actually taking damage, they'll be at a disadvantage.
