Good J-Pop groups?
What are some good, currently popular female lead J-Pop groups? Looking to fill (not totally just get some good stuff on) my iPod for a road trip on Monday.
Depends what kind are you looking for? Fast and energetic? Haunting and beautiful? A little of both? Something entirely different?
A little bit of everything really. Obviously doesn't have to be a single group. Also really like anime intro/outro songs, but not talking anime like DragonBall, etc. Good ones lol
Ex girlfriend introduced me to this one and I've been a fan ever since. Her name is "Lia". May be a pain to search for since her name is not really that uncommon, but I've liked almost everything I've heard her sing.

Yeah pretty damn good if I do say so myself. Give some of her other songs a listen too
FMA:B has some pretty good opening/ending songs from Yui (1st opening) and SCANDAL (one of the endings).

And there is plenty of Kpop out there that is very good. Making the leap from J to K is easy with so many artists crossing over nowadays

I think the J-pop group Perfume is still somewhat popular in Japan.. though I personally dislike their music.
A song I've been addicted to for a while though is Ayane's Arrival of Tears.
And for haunting music, Kanon Wakeshima has some amazing songs as well.

Can't really find her much on youtube since her videos get pulled a lot but Nishino Kana has a lot of nice music.
Personally not a fan of J/Kpop but this song is quite catchy lol...
