Inferno Crystal (!)
1x Ancient Lumber
1x Thokcha Ingot
1x Square of Griffon Leather

Easy enough ... but where the heck do I get a Thokcha Ingot? I can't even find the thing in the AH categories. I'm wondering if it's like one of those mob-only dropped ones, like white steel or something.

/sigh

I stopped by the Smithing guild in Sandy and wrote down some recipes they gave out. Of course I have no clue what the caps are, but the NPC levels (like A, B, C rank recipes) are as follows:

Greubaque (A-Rank, gives Advanced Synth Support)

opprimo

fire crystal
1 brass ingot
1 piece of walnut lumber
2 thokcha ingot
1 Palladian brass ingot

hexed sune-ate

fire crystal
1 scarletite ingot
1 gold sheet
1 square of taffeta cloth
1 square of amphiptere leather
1 square of sealord leather

hexed somen

fire crystal
1 scarletite ingot
1 gold ingot
1 square of taffeta cloth
1 pot of urushi
1 square of sealord leather

yhatdhara

fire crystal
1 piece of divine lumber
3 thokcha ingot
1 square of linen cloth

breidox

fire crystal
1 piece of rosewood lumber
2 thokcha ingot
1 dark adaman ingot

Pinok-Morok (B-Rank, I think)

firnaxe

fire crystal
1 darksteel ingot
1 thokcha ingot
1 heavy darksteel axe

aisa

fire crystal
1 copper ingot
1 lump of tama-hagane
1 piece of elm lumber
1 thokcha ingot
1 square of behemoth leather
1 khimaira mane

apaisante

fire crystal
2 thokcha ingot
1 buffalo horn

Beadurinc (C-Rank, I think)

thokcha ingot

fire crystal
4 chunk of thokcha ore

Iga shuriken

wind crystal
1 lump of tama-hagane
1 gold ingot
1 Palladian brass sheet
1 vial of mercury

So then I got bored and wanted to play, so sorry if the list is incomplete or has old stuff in it. :p (I'll go add it to wiki later, maybe...play first.) ;_;

EDIT: Oops, I did get the recipe mis-copypasta'ed...fixed so as not to irk poor Hohenheim. (sorry!)

Nice thing is that the levels of these synths are mostly irrelevant (aside from reaching a synth cap) since most of us are sitting at 110+ with furniture/gear/support anyway, but those Thokcha Ingots are not going to be pleasant. Drop rate looks pretty low on the ores. Just did a full round of Aht Urghan and Tavnazia Tier 1s and none came up for anyone (One alliance member got a Palladian Ore off the Arrapaggo Reef NM). Not sure if these are dropping elsewhere atm, but this is going to be a tough climb the way it's looking right now.

I'm a bit fuzzy on this stuff - I have +4 from equipment (body, hands, neck), guild is assumed at +3, but what is the Blacksmiths' Stall mega moglification at? I made one with synergy recently, does that trump the furniture and give a +3?

On a related note, I never did get all the GP furniture, I only have Stone Hearth and now the stall. Aside from having pretty stuff (which I will still do!) is it worthwhile mog wise to get the furniture items placed? Or does the stall now trump all?

Stall + Sign + Anvil was +5 last I'd read. Not sure how the Hearth plays into it tbh. Stall by itself iirc was +2...may have been 3. I'd have to look again.

Several questions: First off do you need to do expert quest before you can raise sub crafts to 70. Secondly does the Gorkali Kukri require higher than 60 wood sub(or leather). Thirdly Where the hell do I get these damn Thokcha Ores? I heard a rumor from VWT1's but i spammed them for 3 days solid and didnt get a single 1 nor did anyone in any of my partys get one. However there is 6 in stock in AH and ofcourse i cannot even buy 1 for 1mil (no sales made other than 1 *** hat who sold 1 to him self for 2m). I dont want to spend 8mil on a stupid test item.

No, you do not need to do expert quest to raise subs to 70. That's just their new levels.
Good luck finding the Thokcha Ores...they're just super rare. Hoping that the final boss will drop them like candy when it's finally released.

Also, got the recipe for Hexed Domaru from Wise Owl in Basty.

Fire Crystal + Scarletite Ingot x2 + Gold Ingot + Taffeta Cloth + Urushi + Sealord Leather

Also, when looking at the list of Veteran Synths, Thokcha Ingots are listed there before Imperial Wootz Ingots. Not happy to see this, since it likely means we won't get two chances at a skillup when going Thokcha Ore > Ingot > Additional synth.

Yeah i ended up buying the ores, 3.9 mil down the hole, I broke.
Ive been synthing Adaman armor (forget which 2 but they cap 102/103 smith) no skill ups yet. But hey, it doesn't need thokcha at least.

Edit: Just realised it looks like i meant i broke the synth, I did not. I broke = i poor now

Yea, was figuring I'd do those synths as well once I finally get the ores to make my ingot > test item. Adaman Ingots sitting at 90k atm on Leviathan server, though synth cost is only half that.

Why would you not use smith's ring?
