Play Mass Effect 3 Today (Including EU Territories)

NA release date is 6th of march which is in about 1 hour and 15 mins of me typing this. EU release date is on the 9th of march 3 days later - however the Asian territorys have it avaliable NOW. You MUST have a hard copy of the game if you have not downloaded it via Origin.

Method 1:

I live in the UK and have just activated my game. Here is how I did it.

MAKE SURE THAT AUTOMATIC LOGGIN IS NOT ACTIVE WHEN YOU DO THIS. THIS METHOD INVOLVES A PROXY AND YOU SHOULD NEVER SEND SENSITIVE INFORMATION OVER A PROXY.

Step 1: Download and install Mass Effect 3 from origin then SHUT ORIGIN DOWN.
Step 2: Go to your Control Panel
Step 3: Open Internet Options
Step 4: Click Connections Tab
Step 5: Click LAN settings at the bottom.
Step 6: Click "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings do not apply for dial up or VPN connections.
Step 7: Enter your proxy IP address. (I used [IP removed] with ports 8080)
Step 8: Click on the Mass Effect 3 ICON on your desktop. Validate your game. It will activate.
Step 9: DISABLE THE PROXY BEFORE YOU LOG INTO ORIGIN.

I suppose. I'm waiting until Friday to get mine anyway. Love the game, but not that dedicated to "play it first."

cant wait to play it on PC but i have Japan IP address wander if its gonna work..... gonna be angry if it doesnt work cause of the release date in asia

Asian territories openned a few hours before NA territories. I used an Asian IP to activate my game 3 days early. Even then why would you get angry if you couldnt have activated it? This entire thread tells you how to activate it early anyways lol.
