I was wondering if the Abys set is the better gear choice for farming dynamis and general world encounters?

What makes me wonder is that the set doesn't give much stats to the pet as would say the 3 pieces from the 3 addons (if choosen the correct stats bonuses).

If you had say
Anwig Salade: you attk +3 acc +3
Pet: damage taken -10% haste +5%

Mirke Wardecors: Pet: "Double Attack" +2 and Critical hit rate +2%, Pet: Attack+15 Ranged Attack+15

Desultor Tassets: Pet: Accuracy+7 Ranged Accuracy+7
Pet: Attack+7 Ranged Attack+7

To me these seem far greater atleast when soloing mobs where the pet does all the work?

Or am I missing something?

anwing helm and mirke body is are best with those augs but don't use Desultor Tassets, it's better to use af3+2 or +1 pants, unless you are fighting something with incredibly evasion like cuijatender below 50%, or the fly nm at the abyssea miseraux,

use pdt axes and ducal guard for abyssea, and ull be able to solo everything but silly mobs with bio aura, same thing outside but try to get a oneiros cape, selemnus belt is good for mobs that cast magic as well

It is better for the situation where the pet is doing all the work, yes.

However, all gear is situational. Also, the pants give like 4% damage reduced to your pet that iirc is seperate from the pdt cap. I think that beats tassets for when pet is doing all the work.
