Battle Balance Adjustments: well, at least most of the people who swear by rdm healers should be pleased by this no?
Near 850 Cure IV seems completely necessary.

Cure 2: 144 -> 201 Cure 3: 302 -> 422 Cure 4: 609 -> 852 400+ Cure 3 and 800+ Cure 4 will be really nice on WHM. Hmm... I wonder if there are any healing magic skill pieces that will come into play now that aren't already part of sets... I can't think of anything offhand.

Yeah, the lower tier the cure is, the less effect you see from adding stats(healing magic is barely noticeable on Cure 2/3), MND stilll helps a bit more though, and I could go for max potentcy/MND/Healing magic set for highest numbers, but I am very happy with my cure builds right now, I feel they have a good BALANCE. I've looked into using Tefnut Wand/Genbu's Shield as well, but the only way I can see getting the desired effect worth of swapping over would be if I happened to get a Zenith Pumps +1 w/ max augments and max my augments on my Genbu's Shield as well.(currently 3% Cure Potency/-8% Cure cast) this will be exceedingly nice on scholar with light weather and twilight cape which means basically 1k cure 4s without the use of rapture, do like.
850 cure iv = 42.5 mp return with orison pants. 80(LA cure iv)-42.5= 37.5 mp cost. Not bad for 850 hp cured.

Assuming you don't over cure, yes. +2 pants work on what your cures hit the target for, not what your max potential is. Keep that in mind. It's kind of ironic, since cureskin actually hits for 35% of your max cure potential with +2 body, instead of what your cures actually hit the target for. EDIT: Adding to the numbers, (assuming Cure 4 gets the full 1.4x bonus), 842 Cure 4 would give a 294 Stoneskin Effect. It's no Cure 5/6 cureskin, but not half bad either. So how will this affect anyone using Cures with /WHM? Healing magic gets capped pretty low with WHM as subjob.

SCH receives the most from this update.
With this set (and haste) I can cut the cap of cure 4 down to the ability delay cap in the game, I.E. I can recast cure 4 as soon as I am done casting. with light weather, cape and obi I'm currently hitting 701.5, with an additional 1.3 modifier (assuming I wouldn't hit the new 1.4 cap with a B+ skill), I'd hit 912 for my cure 4s which I would be capable of spamming. If I throw in Rapture beforehand, I'd hit 1368 with the same setup. WHMs now have some serious competition. Nausi but you will be coming Apoc to everything shortly ;)
