Just adding to what I said on an earlier post, I am sympathetic to the OP's loss and am unable to think what I would do if something like that had happened to me.

I had lost expensive items before (I lent something I should have not) and kind of know what it is like. The point on my case is that the person with the item got banned for something (I think it relates to HNM crap)while having my item.

GM reply to my query about the item("pointless politeness" removed for sake of content emphasis): It was such a nice item. Now scram.

Why didn't you equip it right off the bat? because that's what I would have done.

I orignally started this thread a few months back I want to just give an update.


I just happened to call a gm to get an update on it since i didnt try contacting them since it happened. after a breif conversation, GM Jitorio gave me the good news that i would be getting my Almace back. and in less then 5 min i had it back in my inventory!

I'm glad it was solved. Also a good slap in the face to the people laughing at you in this thread claiming you were derp.

But next time bigger screenshot please, I lost 2 degrees of eyesight reading that chatlog.

Epic win, this restores some of my lost faith in humanity, and GMs.

I like how the GM said he meant to be visible. XD

Dont even bother with an SGM/GM. They are all idiots and most of them will just tell you no. Call Playonline corporate office in El Segundo, CA and *** them out there. Just do the whole agnry customer "I'm a paying customer this is horrible customer service. You guys are supposed to be providing me with customer support" etc etc...

They will probably have you write a letter to the account manager complaing. I got a response and my 2nd restore in about ugh I wanna say 2 weeks.

ty all, and no i didnt. I actually gave up on my aegis after i lost the sword and made an apoc instead. but since i got the sword back i think im going to make an ochain instead.

Just out of curiosity, did they actually track down how this happened?

I've sorted and had items disappear from my inventory, only to have them reappear after zoning or something, so it's never been a permanent thing that I encountered. I just don't see how something instantly dematerializes into the Ether.

the GM didnt give me the details. but once i explained to him what happened, and he looked up the complaint i made he told me that him and a SGM were looking into it. then he gave me the good news that i would be getting it back w/o any wait time either.

I get the feeling that they made a decission about it a while ago and just never contacted me because they put it in my items right on the spot. the whole thing only took about 5 min from the first tell from the GM.

WTF, what universe is this? I've never seen a GM so nice and helpful, after any amount of time.

I'm trying for my first empy (Ukko) and making an empy looks like a bottomless pit of effort. I have wonderful people helping me out but a lot of times I don't even feel like I am accomplishing anything, just pilling up effort. You gone through all that and had the ultimate deception right on completion ... >_<

So, re-congratulations on your Almace !

Good to know all your effort did not go down the drain.

Here's my theory.

Something tragic in game happened, like his in-game GF cheated on him or broke up with him, and she had been working on that Almace with him since it's inception. They split up just before he finished and he lost all hope in humanity. As a last ditch effort to piss her off he finished the level 90 Almace and threw it away right away to take a screenshot and send it to her to show her how much a waste of time she was. A week later he decides that he's an idiot and wants it back now.

After waiting so long to hear back, he gives up and decides to make an Apoc instead of an Aegis because he doesn't want to start another Almace (too much heartache). He gets EXTREMELY lucky with the GM(s) he gets and it is returned. He already used his coins for the Apoc stages so he decides to make an Ochain to go with the sword instead.

Do I win a prize?

Anyone remember where you would auto-sort the non stackable emp items like Cirein-Croin lanterns and they all were lost? I think that's what happened here. /shrug

been working/trying to find work these past couple of weeks, havent really been online much. ***if it wasnt for oj i probably wouldn't have called the gm at all lol
