August 29th of this year, the day after doing the SE transfer from
POL I tried logging into my account. PW was incorrect so I figured after hearing that some issues with the password and SE id being swapped on accident I called the support center. Come to find out all my info was changed including my security question and answer and after many days and nights of calling in seeing what I could do they send me the e-mail for the notary form. I fill all the information out on it and even include anything else in my package I can think of such as the linked gamertag for 360, Guildwork account,etc, even though I know that it didn't matter since its not owned by SE(I just wanted to give them all the info I possibly had).
I finally recieve the E-mail saying that my account has been confirmed to have been owned by me. I call in and ask about the character restore seeing as I was server moved and had 30+ mil of gear sold.(heralds,novio,novia, aristocrats coat etc etc.) I give them the exact date and even the hour of when I last logged on and the char was moved the day after that.(btw I often change my passwords and use a security token.) After accepting the terms of the rollback I decide not to bother them by calling in all the time and let them do their work.
I receive e-mails over the course of the months asking me to call in with additional info. I give them everything including all the ISP addresses I had over the years and the time frame of each. Everytime I would ask about the account when they told me to call in they said it was still under investigation but they should be done soon and it will get rolled back on the date I requested. Today after nearly 4 months of waiting to see that e-mail saying my account has been recovered/rolled back I get this E-mail.
"Dear Customer:
We would like to give you an update regarding the game data recovery request for a compromised account.
We have completed our investigation based on the information you provided. At the conclusion of the investigation we were unable to find any evidence of the PlayOnline ID being accessed by a third party. Due to this, we were unable to fulfill your request for game data restoration.
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you, and we appreciate your continued use of the PlayOnline services.

The account is also still locked and I can't access it. So I guess that the people who have wondered where I disappeared to would now know. It seems that I won't be coming back and I would like to say thanks to all the friends I made over the years and who I enjoyed the game with. I now play FFXIV on the Trabia server: Blossoming Cerberuss so if in the future anyone decides to play or is there already drop me a hello sometime.
