I think they should adjust the delay between hit and casting. Casting shouldnt add a longer delay melee hit.

i think it'd be kinda cool to be able to take up to 2 steps while casting... i think due to minor lag, i end up interrupting myself by casting too early(before my character fully stops). i don't think that would be too much to ask.

If one dual boxes, you can see this delay by moving your character and viewing such movements from the other character's point of view, you stop moving , but it takes a second-ish for the server to register that you stopped moving. I think being able to take 1 step while casting would even allow this to happen... Anyone who list RDM as one of their jobs on the official forum should have to answer the question "Where do you stand as a RDM in a group fight?"
If the answer is anything but "In the backline with the rest of the mages" or something along those lines they should put them in a special pen where they can discuss all the awesome melee RDM ideas that the Devs can just ignore. Although I think they enjoy these questions as it gives them a question to put a long winded "NO" answer to. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It wouldn't overpower RDM, DRK(loltheirspellssuck), or any of the other jobs. However, it would make BLU even more retardedly powerful.
