Pretty much looking for some NIN builds that I can set up. I'll post what I'm currently using and hopefully some more expert players could give me a hand with anything that should be added/switched. I'm currently working on a Kaanagi also, so I'll need a fairly good Blade: Hi set.

NIN TP:

NIN EVA:

(Note: I'm working on a T3 so I can obtain Ocelot Trousers)

I'm going to add a few more in a bit, just working out what I do actually use.

If you have gil to blow, maybe consider Dusk Gloves +1 and augmented Byakko's Haidate with +Crit. Damage and Store TP on it.

However, that will probably cost you a few million gil depending on how lucky you are with the augments on your haidate.

Is that anything like a Kannagi? and use Ninja Chainmail over Loki's Kaftan.
Sorry, it's a simple typo not long woke up. Plus, may I ask why I should swap the bodys? Is it because of the 5% dual wield the body gives off?

I don't have any money to blow, I don't even have anything near 1m lol.

Well, the delay on my TP set is 408, so I'm unsure if that's at cap or not. I am however, close to getting the +2 body so I'll have the full +2 set, if that makes a difference.

You can't hit the cap with out atleast haste and a march, and this assumes you are alreay geared for delay - (not sure how much it puts you over but probably not enough that you can drop a peice with out getting a second march) and the bard has enough march+ gear. The set bonus from AF3 is weak enough that it isn't even worth account.

-80% delay = cap, which pretty much you need both haste and marches for.

I'd say if you don't have the money, don't worry about dusk+1 gloves. The AF2+2 gloves have constant 4% haste (according to the dat mines) and more than enough str to make up for the attack. You'll just have to wait for them to come out of course.

Spoiler because huge post:
And that's how you fill up your main, and 2 mules with just NIN gear. I'm sure I missed a few sets, but that's the majority of them.

I thought best TP set up was exactly what you have but usu feet and rancor collar.

Why are you wearing excess haste inside Abyssea?

That is the optimal set (well, hands+1) when exclusively focused on damage output. Byakko's/Iga and Iga/Usukane have their situational advantages when this isn't viable. With marches, you'd obviously swap out body and legs and potentially be looking at Byakko's + Usukane depending on BRD's gear (how close to delay capped you are).

I thought with usu feet you were taking out a round and making it so as long as you ws at 100tp (or 101.whatever, forget..) it'd beat that.

err, I assume shura pants get dual wield? too lazy to look it up atm x.x...

I'll have to go pick up a pair of the pants/STR sekka(I assume), besides that I have everything in the set.

ah, well if you get the 5 store tp too, then it'd probly do the same. Would run it through xicalc, but again... lazy.

though, I only play nin in abyssea... and I don't really see a time when shinobi ring would actually be able to be used.

They're honestly not that different. If you find yourself mostly fighting weaker mobs or make frequent use of Rancor Collar, Iga Ningi +2, and/or Innin then I'd probably go with Byakko's/Iga as a default set, otherwise go for Iga/Usukane.

Use Kamome in Abyssea, outside I wouldn't unless you're capped cRatio with high critrate.

Fastcast edit: Don't answer Rancor please xD I understand it's value perfectly, just questioning myself between the other two.

Outside when your not using Rancor, for the subtle blow.
