STR Vs DEX Merits?
STR vs DEX merits?
I've had sull str merits for a while. Was wondering if for being on dnc for 99% of everything I do, if dex would help more?
Str will help damage but I would recommend CHR merits for two reasons. Your sambas will heal more and chr is a modifier on dancing edge.

and why would u use dancing edge? evisceration and rudras would like a word with u....
STR just do STR. theres no and ifs or buts about it. just merit STR

But, more importantly, when you're tanking on dnc, that extra chr will get you more enmity.
@OP: Stick with str for pretty much any melee job.

i still keep my dex merits if only because not only am i rudra *** but im also a jishnu *** and i hardly play any other physical job. that aside we aren't in abyssea anymore so str all the way.

dex for shout range, gotta make sure everyone in pj can hear you

when breaking down jishnu, unless that dex is making you reach the cap ddex crit bonus, str (in particularly the str vs vit function for ranged: fSTR2) would be much better overall especially with ranged weapons, but i wont say that its entirely impossible at all for the ddex to help with critical rate, its just generally better in practice to do STR(even moreso in favor of STR when looking at rng cause of fSTR2~)
