So after a couple of months off and then back to the game, and getting a 2nd toon to lvl 95 Whm. I was thinking, how hard is chloris really? Anyone who has dualboxed this before as Mnk and Whm or Nin and Whm. I'm leaning more towards Mnk because its better geared and hundred fists will just eat up shadows. Any feedback would be nice!

Lots of holy waters is your biggest thing to worry about - Fatal Scream will easily ruin your day! Otherwise, simple fight.

Get some Atma to assist.

Atma of the Gnarled Horn, Atma of the Roaring Laughter. These two provide a substantial Counter + Boost. Most MNKs can actually solo Chloris due to the insane amount of Counter + they can get.

Then it's up to you with whatever your 3rd Atma is, if you have a WHM assist then you can just go for Apoc or RR.

Once you have this, about a stack of Holy Water for the fights(You'll probably only consume half a stack if at all)

Go to Abyssea - Ule/Altepa/Grauberg and pucharse some Doom Screens, these last a long while and are fantastic.

I do thf/nin using RR/GH/Apoc and a whm mule.

Bring lots and lots of holy water and just melee her down. Fairly simple fight!

Ty! Holy waters were all I needed, fight went smooth.

Why not use a doom screen if you are so worried for doom.

Getting the Key Items for Chloris from boxes is tougher than fighting Chloris

I went drk/mnk using RR GH RL and kept counterstance/dread spikes up. When he hundred fists the % hp were moving faster than my swing animation ^^

thf + whm duo boxed it

had apoc atma onf both character in case of not getting doom off (i forgot my hallowed water in mh)

worst fight round was when i got cursed4 times.
First one i got off with cursna
The 3 others just wiped me and i did the rest of the fight weak.

Would still say i've been in worse fights.
F'er only dropped one bud :-(

Anything besides his curse move is worthless. be prepared for that and the fight is a sure win

you don't know when it will cast doom
the doom screen only lasts 2min
it can cast doom multiple times
if you are whm + thf you'd have to be nasty to kill it in 2min

At 99 fight is a joke, you have to stop WSing to get decend TH on it. Also dont be a cheapstake and bring some fn holy waters.

WAR + WHM. Retaliation + Chloris' Hundred Fists + Ukko's Fury spam = 30-45 second fight.

If for any reason you can not do it by any of the above methods

BST - Main tank

SMN - Rapid pets to hold if Call beast is down, DD

we are talking about dual-boxing. how else would you avoid doom if not through holy water and cursna? how is it cheap to bring holy water? go play in the sand.

What I posted was helpful. Just 'cause you don't have an Emp, doesn't mean this method can't be done. Any other GA will do just fine. Instead of Ukko's, use Upheaval. When it Hundred Fists, pop Mighty Strikes, and win....

Edit: Since he doesn't have WAR leveled, MNK + WHM would work just fine for this. Holy water is cheap (if you think 12-15k/stack is expensive, do some cruor burn and convert it to gil... or something... gil is super easy nowadays). MNK has a crap-ton of HP, so full-timing counterstance shouldn't be an issue. Cure6 + some cureskin will help out alot. I don't play MNK, so I'm not sure if something is better than /sam for this situation. Seigan + Third Eye saves lives. If you get doomed, spam waters while your alt spams cursna. That new Merit ws is pretty good, so dmg shouldn't be an issue.

As for TH, just do a shout for a THF before you go out. I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to pick up some +2 crap just for slappin' on some TH

I thought you were advocating to NOT bring holy water; I misread your post. Sorry about that. Yes, you are right: the fight isn't too much trouble with holy waters.

This fight was easy when I dual boxed it at 85, probably was easy at 80 as well, but never tried of course since we didn't know these weps would be any good at the time 99 should be able to do it in your sleep

he's dead on. we duo'd the other day for +2 items. MNK/WAR + WHM/someshit. my mnk gear isn't top end, & the whm just had the appropriate atmas.
