What about a 2 hume couple? Could make a back story of them rescuing you from an orc that just killed your mom. The day to day struggles of raising a mithra .. so much kitty litter and fur balls hocked up all around the mog house.
Then could have the creepy "uncle" that shows up when the parents are away adventuring, wearing only a Maat's cap.Not like I have given it much thought or anything.
