Tiger Pet: LV93
Claw Cyclone
Razor Fang
Roar

Slug Pet: LV95
Purulent Ooze: 2 Charges
Corrosive Ooze: 3 Charges

Ability: Run Wild
Recast is 15 minutes. Lasts for 5 minutes then your pet disappears. I used Familiar and Run Wild together, but the pet still disappeared. The ability makes the pet noticeably stronger, from eyeballing the numbers, average w/o ability was 270 per hit, and with the ability it was about 300. Seems to give the pet haste as well.

The tiger seems to have water resistance of 75%, but I'm assuming that's a glitch.

Doesn't Dipper Yuly have strong wind resistance? Maybe they're trying to make more pets like that. I think Fargann has water resistance too. /shrugs Hopefully, they'll change it from water to something else though.

soloed some of the Ark Angels individually (not the one with all 5 of them at once) using the slug jug. GK was a easy solo, TT was a bit annoying with Anon Drive paralyze and bind moves but was even easier than GK.

Slug does not have a lot of HP (maybe 3500 HP at most) but does not take a lot of damage (the Ark Angels only did mid double digit damages on normal attacks). One Corrosive Ooze lasted a long time on most mobs.

Interested in this as well :D

Though I thought you couldn't view any new (if any) Magian trials on the test server? I could be wrong, 2:30 AM xD

Anything's possible, but tigers have always been warriors. Job don't generally change when pets are summoned.

I wouldn't say that just yet. It looks like it could be nice for BC fights, where you are gonna lose the pet afterward anyways. That's the first thing I thought of.

Whoa, a jug pet you used as a level 95 BST was evasion capped on content meant for level 75? No way...

I believe he's suggesting it could be a SJ or MJ, though, as for all tigers being wars, byakko sup. Although byakko isn't your common tiger, callbeast jugs stat-wise aren't common either from their wild counterparts.

Uh, what? What jugpet differs from the job/subjob qualities of its wild counterpart? And Byakko being a thief means nothing. Its, ya know, an NM.

Ladybugs were thieves in the wild, Dipper Yuly was a thief. Your tiger was evasive because of level correction, its not a thief(and if our friend had half a brain, he would have been "testing" for triple attack, but that's neither here nor there).

It doesn't take a lot of damage from what I've seen, although I've only taken out small pop NMs so far with it. Had np tanking the gigas NMs in la thiene, baring the aoe ice tp move I forgot the name of. (And that was without pet pdt gear, as i didn't have bst gear on my main, being only 65 as of yet.)

Haven't had the chance to fight water mobs yet, I'm presuming it absorbs like the rest? Currently levelling bst so interested in this update^^

I believe they said they are in the process of looking over all the pets and making adjustments to them, but it was going to take a long time for that to be complete.

This could just be one of many small updates for the pets.

Seems SE doesn't put down the ban hammer on people posting test server findings, different from the FFXIV beta days. So I feel pretty safe in posting this:

"antagonistic ambuscade" the upcoming HKCNM shouldmight be soloable by BST.

Any by soloable, I mean a BST that will preform faster than I did. GorefangHobs is your best bet here just for raw power. A good idea is to fight alongside your pet using /DNC because when you spawn the ants it will hit you for a good chunk of dmg before you can put your pet on it.

It's a 15 min battle in Boneyard Gully vs a number of "Antiphus Spawn" Antlions. I got up to #5 before I timed out, mainly wasting a bit finding #5 as It didn't want to pop. Can't find any other findings on a successful completion so I can't tell you the limit of antlions you need to kill.

used the tiger jug and soloed Hakutaku spamming reward every chance I got. It did hit hard and the Firaga III still hurt like hell (still did 800 damage with Shell V from NPC fellow and I had the wrong sub job on top of that) but only had below average accuracy and had no trouble keeping up on Reward. I disengaged from the fight on two occasions to rest my NPC MP pool but tiger held out well.
