I don't get it.

the 85 bst had us waiting 10 minutes for him to whittle down gukumatz with his stupid miscellaneous pets because they kept dying every 25%

LOL, I was about to guess that after I zoomed in. How hard did you guys rage? I would've been caps locking for a good 30 mins.

Maybe hes just trying to annoy you until you proc for him. I dont know how many people I see soloing mobs way too slow whom I then just invite to proc/get them out of the way.

I understand where you're coming from with the whole taking forever thing. I'm sorry you ran into a really shitty bst that was using the wrong pet.

If i were to solo in that sense it would not be with flowerpot francis and I can guarantee it wouldnt take as long as you're assuming it would ;/

Why don't you solo KI's on your NIN? (still would piss me off)

Solo Ki's as NIN/DNC? with little to no procs? or solo as NIN/WAR with no healing?

Just because something is more efficient one way, doesn't mean it's my favorite way to do it.

If you die to Gukumatz as Nin/war with a free Dusty Elixir at the least on entry, potential regen atmas, a plethora of survivability, you don't deserve gukumatz

Also, if your justification for going bst to waste time is "everything else compromises my playstyle", it isn't a good one and generally isn't well received by people, at all

10 minutes isnt bad as far as being level 85 no atmas no abyssites and subbin whm

Ok I wasn't calling him out, I was curious why he didn't solo it on a job with more procs that can also kill it much faster.

I see nin/wars solo it all the time though.

You really misunderstand my point. Of course I'm not going to die to Guku as NIN/WAR, but i'm not going to farm a whole KI set as that.

Also, My justification for going bst is because i enjoy it. What do you not understand? :/

What I'm saying is before events, instead of wasting the time of others, prioritize your time in more efficient ways, you're at a very large opportunity cost by soloing nms, do other activities accomplish-able solo/by a very small group that would benefit yourself that isn't wasting others' time. Farm the pop set during your event 3x faster in a method that isn't going to make other people hate you, because "I enjoy wasting others' time on my bst in abyssea" is dickish. In the meanwhile, in your time before event you can do things that are independent of the needs of others, like maybe salvage so you can get usu feet for your supposed 28% haste ninja

Yeah, soloing used to be OK when it was actually a challenge and you didn't waste half the other zones time, but when I see people soloing crap, then they kill it without proccing or even shouting/asking for proc(ill always proc for a soloer so it's 1 less person to compete against) it's really rude, annoying, and makes me rage hard. Either the NM's should rage instantly, be impossible/ACTUALLY CHALLENGING TO SOLO/ have faster repops, have multiple repops, have multiple ???'s(even 15 min repop nms, change them to force pops >:|) or something, idk.

I would feel horrible wasting not only my time, but other peoples time soloing some nm tbh :/ It's one thing that annoys the hell out of me about abyssea, making things so easy it takes literally 0 skill to solo 90% of the things(hi2uapoc atma also <3)

All NMs should have a Mijin/AF ability that triggers after 10minutes. BST problem fixed.

10 mins would be too long, I've only seen one person actually take more than 10 mins to kill a KI NM, some JP PLD/DNC that couldn't outdps absombosam(sp)'s drain HP TP move for amuhuluk >_>.

It would only he helpful on bsts soloing ovni and other stupid stuff :(
