Hey all, just basically wondering about usukane armour.
Is it hard to obtain? I've never really done salvage.
If not are their linkshells that sell it?
Reason being i've just levelled my PUP and christ there is a whole shortage of decent gear and Usukane looks by the the best, especially for "outside".

in other words: it isn't worth wasting your time on just yet unless you've got absolutely nothing else to occupy yourself with
"just yet", because of salvage trials/augments in the future, though that's still a little bit down the road, and you can complete a particular piece of gear from salvage within a week np

Salvage is extremely easy. Everything can be cleared with 3 people, everything. None of the armor is "hard" to obtain, it just might take a little. We just did a AR run and got 3 Macha coat and 2 went floored so it's not really bad.

There are still some situational pieces that are good, like morrigan body is still best nuke piece for rdm, skadi feet is move boost and few others I am missing. The augment for sky gear was awesome, fast cast+5 on w legs. I wouldn't be surprised if ***turned out good for salvage ones.

Ah okay, so i could probably low man it myself. Yay for dragging friends off to another event they will deem useless. :D
Yeah, i still need a morrigan's body too for rdm >.< using twilight atm on low resist mobs and Teal/+1 hat on high resist. That will change when i get my +1 body and +2 hat though.

And in regards to cirque gear, yes SOME of it is excellent, but jesus christ it looks stupid.

Oh an another misc. question while we're talking about it, i haven't tryed Aug.'ing sky gear yet... can you erase the augments you get or is it final after one go? Cause i'd hate to get shitty augments on HQ sky gear, Cursed stuff still aint cheap.
You can rewrite the augments, I don't think you can store the gear though w/augments.

And who cares about storing anyway, after seven years of not storing i find that if i store stuff i forget/lose it, i only really store gear such as certain AF that i don't use. That and the ridiculus amount of AF3 feet and accessories that i am collecting for jobs i don't even have >.<

Head, Body, Hands, and Legs (4/5) are the best pieces to TP in by a long shot. Boots are the best for WS. Body and hands are also the best in slot for WS unless I'm forgetting something.
EDIT: Actually I guess Mirke with 10 Attack/3 crit is best for WS- but that does require using an augmented item.

Anyways...in relation to Usukane, it is incorrect to say that getting some would be a total waste of time. The boots are still good for TP and the legs are still good for WS.
feet/legs are at least worth their time, absolutely, but he was giving the vibe off that he was gunna go get the full set and full time it because it makes him look like a sam/nin/mnk and not a pup, see: doingitwrong etc
