Anwig Question

I made a killer evasion piece out of mine with haste +3, evasion +10, and then it comes with the bonus of having 3 subtle blow and 4 store tp. I think that's the best evasion hat ever. But I've heard the -2 waltz or a ws hat is what most people do.

Aias for ws and etoile for curing for me. ...Am I missing out?

Waltz hat is far more useful. Waltz potency caps at 30%, so Etoile hat is meh. WS hat is nice but waltz still has greater utility. I don't see why you can't just use a fugacity beret for evasion.

I'll poke my head in here. 4 dex, 4 agi, 2% crit damage and 2% ws damage anwig has made my life so much better as a ninja. I have a whm alt so I can't really comment on the usefulness of a waltz hat - but please just take a second look at a ws hat.

Even with -2, the long recast of erase or cure 4/5 are still obnoxiously long. And the only way I would be over cap would be if I had a roundel.

Is -2 really that noticeable?

I think I've ruled out ws hat but I'm just not convinced -2 waltz hat is better than that awesome evasion hat.

Maybe once dancer is relegated to a healing role again I'll find more use for it. But as it stands, I end up tanking everything I engage.

What about a -2 / crit hybrid? Hmmm...

The -2 recast really is that noticeable. I couldn't imagine giving it up now.

DNC is only supposed to use Curing Waltz III, (unless Saber dancing then V is ok between recasts) lol. Waltz recast makes III amazing. Way more HP/sec cured than any of the others.

Yeah, Recast-2 is the only way to go. I went with 6 CHR/-2 Recast, but I'd consider re-making as Recast-2/Pet Damage taken -10%.
