Well folks my Abby adventures are over for awhile. Went to grab more stones and found out I have to wait for them to "recharge". I was WTF is this?? So you can run out of stones!! Well anyways any advice to keep this from happening again??? How long does it take for a "stone" to recharge. Do they recharge even if your off?? Plea advise!!
If you have no abyssites of celerity, it takes 20 hours to get 1 stone. Each abyssite of celerity lowers that by 4 hours iirc, which means you get a stone every 8 hours with all 3 abyssites. You can check how many stones you have remaining by talking to joachim. Stones DO accumulate while you are offline.

Ya, make sure your at 8hr recharge. Then find something to do for a week outside abyssea.

I am at the 8 window. Some people say find a cour TE party and build it up after getting two stones.
That is lame. 8 hours of real time a pop!!
Get the sojourn abyssites too. If you get them all, 1 stone gives you 48 minutes. It's very nice.
3 stones a day isn't that bad imo but I don't spend all day in abyssea lol. Do you also have the abyssites that adds on time to each stone instead of having 30 minute/stone you will have 48minute/stone?

Yes, because everyone got Abyssea right when it came out, so they should all have a whole lot of stones.
I had 200 plus at one time. Now I have to manage what I do in Abby for awhile.
you musta lived in abyssea to burn that many stones that fast.

You need to either build time up when you go into abyssea or do less abyssea, BBB.
Most people who have been playing for a while have 200+ stones saved up, so most shout groups for seals etc wont want to build up lights to save on RL time.
When working on empyrians with a small group we generally do what we nicknamed buring stones, ignoring goting for TEs just to get KIs and items quickly then reset time. If we have 5+ then we usually have 1 person work on time.

Gotcha, so instead of looking up all the discovered information and wiki data out there... we can pretend the game is new and flood forums with obvious questions.
And we wondered why this became a troll playground for years before the mods buckled down. The biggest mistake you made was assuming that i told him he should have a lot of stones... i made no comment of the type.

Do a trial weapon or two. That's a great way to build them up again.

Not really a tip about stones but if you don't already make capping azure the very first thing you do. Only takes like 5-10 min and adds up very quickly. I have entered zones before planning to just burn stones on stuff and ended up 5 or 6 hours later still going strong on time and having to leave because of RL not time out XD This is with out actually stoping to farm TEs, just getting them as i go.
Even if your Account is disabled you recharging stones.

at 8 hours a stone, its practically impossible to use them up faster than you get them unless you're never building any lights at all. I've TRIED to use them up, but nooo.... I still have over 300.
If possible, enter abyssea on a job that can AoE burn, build up a crapload of time, then go chill out doing whatever you want. That's what I usually do unless I need to go NIN for red procs or something.
Also as a added note the abyssite start from the time you have had abyssea so if you get the abyssite it will start from the first time you got the CS so you should automatically have more stones cause it will cut the time of the stones you got in the beginning. This is unless they changed this in the last update. So get three stones go specifically for those abyssite and report back and let us know if you have a surplus of stones. When I did mine I had 180 stones and then it automatically jumped to 270+ worth a shot!!
What I find best is since NM's are guaranteed pearl, you build up azure casually and make a point to pearl every NM you fight. By the end of the night you should have enough pearl to make cleaving worthwhile and just take 5 minutes (if needed) to get yourself to azure TE territory. Then as a ninja, I pull out my martial dagger and aeolian burn to 120.
Yea but he has like no stones what so ever he needs to have a surplus and then keep it from then on. Good advise cause I do the same when I'm in and when I leave I usually have 100 minutes +, but I want to say is that once he has like 3 stones he can collect the abyssite and then have a immediate supply of stones.
