Original, but basically the exact same thing above this just came from the main website and the above came from the forums:

I think there are some wrong times in the table (ahead an hour), I will have to go through and find the error. Just keep that in mind and you know your own time zone so you should know what is wrong. North America and all the sharing countries should be correct though.

"The game will remember the Atma that the player was last infused with"

whats that supposed to mean exactly? i choose 3 atmas, play a bit, warp out of the zone, come back anytime later, and still have those 3 atmas infused?

wouldnt that mean that i, if i then want to choose other atmas, have to manually remove those 3 atmas first and click through the still unsorted list of trillions of atmas to find them? so even more work than less?....

It will most likely give you an option to infuse the last 3 you had.

I think it means that you'll have the option to be infused with your last choice.

There's a problem..

You say lazy people in the sense that 'just anyone can go to the official forums and see for their self'

I don't go to the official SE anything, if I doubt something, or someone is claiming something that pertains to me but also said it came straight from SE, then I might go and verify..

Other than that, even when I was extremely into FFXI/FFXIV, I mostly stick here for info, figuring anything of significance will be copied over relatively almost as soon as it's up on SE's official channels..

There's also a difference between laziness and convenience.. Ever tried to find a specific thing on a page you're not familiar with? Even if it's so obvious to most, others may have difficulty finding what they need. It's a lot more convenient to just wait until it's copied here, than to go digging through a page I almost never go on.

You get a new LS yet? If not I can pearl you in the one I'm in.. Although it's not exactly geared towards the more advanced content.. But FFXIAHLS is pretty much officially dead.. I'm only keeping it for nostalgia's sake.

(Once dungeons are up, be sure to send me an invite <_< I don't wanna miss those.. I'm almost 30 MRD.)

I'm planning on leveling a new job soon and I will do. Me and Kowen were going to level a new job and I'd be interested in doing dungeons then :)

Not really playing atm though.

From what I'm reading, jobs just add to classes.. It's not like MRD or WVR is going to become a JOB as soon as the patch hits.. They'll still be classes, and those classes can still go on being exactly what they were, but the jobs supplement your class when you're getting into more XI orientated grouping, where everyone has an EXACT job to play (right now as a MRD I can be tank or DD, and do both effectively) and a role to fill..

That's just the impression I'm getting though, guess we'll have to actually wait and see how it plays out exactly.

I assumed classes are good for multi speccing but jobs are superior if you need to be a specific role.

Like in a high DD situation a WHM would be far superior to a THM, but if you already have a WHM you could go on THM and use some CON abilities for damage.

But then a BLM would be superior to a THM and CON.

Same as DD, I assume PGL will be like a watered down version of MNK but a PGL will have more choices in terms of abilites.

A MNK wouldn't be able to tank but a PGL with a pseudo tank build would be able to.

I like that.

No doubt. Ok, so maybe to original post was redundant. But I read it here, so obviously it's useful to some people. Rinkydink's comment was good for no one.

And Rinkydink, because I am feeling jerkish... new forum rules, melon farmer. Thanks for being my first. Ash bowl.

Just sayin, I can waste more RAM by opening a tab and going to playonline or offical square-enix forums to find out information on incoming maintenance or updates. Or we can wait til someone awesome gives us the scoop on a thread here while still having relevant and interesting conversation at hand all on the same site and tab.

Was just about to edit and say, the same applies to in depth info or dat mods that normally one would have to browse Blue Gartr or Neko-Sentai for. This community really is starting to become a one stop shop thanks to the traffic and expansion of the forums over the years. Not sure why copy pasta would piss anyone off, especially since clicking and reading are completely optional.

I'll be following, may not actually offer much in response, but I'll be following it nonetheless.

I actually lurk a lot more now.. Now that I'm back full fledged into XIV and am going ahead with progression. Used to be a lot more apprehensive of the way the game was heading, but nope, it feels right, the changes coming feel right, everything they've done feels right.. So I'm going to go ahead and put time in it again. It's headed in the right direction.

Eh people don't bother reading disclaimers or given credit.
They just throw a tantrum if their words or content are located elsewhere other than where they approve.
Ironically they forfeit that limitation by making it public to begin with.

My posts about updates/maintenance might be a bit long but I have only heard very rare complaints about them except from Rinkydink in a previous thread of mine. I keep it to two parts always, if it is longer I put it in a spoiler tag. I've considered putting the time table in one but I think it sticks out and if it helps inform one person I think it did its job.

Rinkydink hasn't contributed anything to any of my topics before, and 99% of the time the topics I present brings out some level of discussion among players. I don't care if someone like him blocks me, if he doesn't want the information that I have organized and presented to others then that is his choice.

As to his reason for blocking me I think it is foolish. It's not like I'm being obnoxious, insulting, hurtful, or rude.
