Old Noob

I Logged on today for the first time in a year level 75 and I must say I am a little lost. I found out what I need to do for my level break, but I can't find out where everyone has gone too. I walked in to whitegate and it was completely empty. I have all the add on scenarios but I do not have any of the battle add ons (visions,scars,heroes). So I guess my questions are, what is the name of the area where everyone congregates now, and do i need to have the battle add ons to reach level 90? Any help would be much appreciated.

Port Jueno is where everyone will be.

You dont NEED the battle add-ons to hit 90.. but they'll make it faster (some great XP in there) and for the new "best" gear you'll also probably want to pick em up when you can.

The gathering place is now Port Jeuno. Also having Abyssea has become also a must as both exp and endgame focuses there for the major part at the moment. While you can still find low level parties in the old camps, exping above 75 outside of Aby simply doesn't exist.

I cant buy all 3 today, but if I got visions today could start working my way to 80 easy with that?

You'll want to get heroes first since that's where most people are exping.

Sure, you will just have less chances having 3/9 zones, but many people exp in Vision areas still, so no biggie.

Visions should be fine as plenty of people still do worm pts in la theine.
