it's less cliques and more like some major threads tending to derail into odd personal conversations between select posters.
This is not a bad thing at all now that I think about it, builds a stronger bond within the community but may have the adverse effects of leaving/turning new posters away. MAY though, though it's unlikely, just a possiblity
I have no idea why I chose the word clique and I feel dumb for choosing it, there has to be another word for it I'm sure

but i've never been ignored when i posted there, even though i almost never post there
and i've always seen them accept new posters there happily

well, yeah, threads evolving into conversations between specific posters i certianly won't argue with
i've seem similar phenomenon on other lightly moderated forums though
i think it has more to do with the human tendency to conversationally wander than it does with exclusive groups of friends

cliques are exclusive Yes, but there is a difference between acknowledging a post and holding a conversation. It feels like a huge effort sometimes to really talk in there when you aren't part of it and even then the slightest thing come along... yeah... There are maybe three to five people who actually would talk to me for example and Ni is actually rather large.
You might not see it but that may be because 1) you don't post in there too often and/ or 2) because you are part of Ni.

Yeah it's true a lot of those hoes in Ni will ignore you if you kinda just jump in and say hi (Has happened to me plenty of times) but it's no big deal really
